La verdad no sabia si comprarlas o no ya que salieron en el 2013 y yo las adquiri a finales de enero del 2019, si en pleno año 2019 me decidi por unas bocinas del 2013 y debo decir que se escuchan mejor de lo que pense, tenia unas Bose Companion 2 serie 3 (que sin dudar las vendere) y la verdad nada que ver, estas bocinas Harman suenan espectacular, también tengo una bocina Bose Soundlink 3 y me atrevo a decir que estas Harmon suenan mas fuerte que la Soundlink, tienen un diseño sin igual, llegaron completamente nuevas en su caja todo guardado a la perfección, no me arrepiento de la compra para nada, las mejores bocinas para pc que he escuchado, yo opte por la versión sin Bluetooth ya que solo las usare para mi computadora a través del auxiliar.

Not UK spec so unable to operate. Not Bluetooth as described either. Seller gave inaccurate information. No UK plug. Refund given and seller offered for me to keep item for inconvenience then requests return the next day. Waste of my time as now I need to return item and someone left without Christmas present. Poor all round.

I realised when I got these I've wanted them since I first saw them a looong time ago. They don't have bells and whistles like Bluetooth but that works for me since I wanted simple speakers to plug into my desktop Mac. They're expensive. I hope they last a very long time.

Llevaba mucho tiempo queriendo estas bocinas cuando al fin las compré.
Me encanta todo sobre ellas, el sonido era aún mejor de lo que esperaba, completo en todo, bajos súper profundos y claros muy definidos, si acaso le falta un toque de medios.
El diseño destaca inmediatamente y se ven bien en donde sea que las pongas, y están cuidadas hasta el detalle como los cables y los interiores.
Lo único que les podría faltar sería conexión inalámbrica pero en lo personal no me es esencial, y se puede resolver con un adaptador Bluetooth Logitech de 300 pesos más o menos. Sin duda, recomendadísimas en el rango de precio.

$240 is a lot to shell out for a computer sound system for me. However, my friend has two since he loves them so much. He always has them on when he has guests over. I loved how they sounded and took the plunge myself. I'm sure I am just as happy with them as he is. The difference in sound quality compared to my old Logtiechs was well worth the price, especially for movies and talking in general.

The speakers look nice and compliment my glass computer desk very nicely.

I don't like the LED In the subwoofer always being on. Not really a big issue though. An issue that does bug me is that for $240, these should have been grounded and shielded properly. At about 1/3 of full volume, with nothing playing, there is an audible buzz coming from the speakers. This could have easily been fixed in development.

Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. The sound and the look outweigh any negatives. If you're looking for an upgrade to your sound system, this is it.

Esta compra la hice para remplazar las Soundsticks II que ya tenían como 6 años. Me gusto mucho que esta es la primera version que tiene switch de apagado (es el mismo que se usa para subirle al Subwoofer) , solo tienes que presionarlo para prender o apagar. Ciertamente no tiene Bluetooth, y por lo mismo no cuesta como la de Bluetooth! La fidelidad es excelente. Hay que tomar en cuenta que solo tiene 65W. Osea no es super potente. Es mas bien como para que las pongas en tu computadora y escuches música con alta calidad.

I love having my babies again!!!! I bought my first set of these in 2003. They died in 2015! We had lots of quality time together.
Not much has changed. They are still impressive and sufficient to annoy the neighbors with.
My only complaints are that I miss the form fitted styrofoam packaging of the earlier ones, though I understand the environmental need to ditch the styrofoam. It does make for a much larger box.
And the power/volume control knob on the sub seems marginally cheaper in quality, a little flimsy feeling.
Pretty minimal as far as complaints go lol.
Oh, and don't forget to turn the volume up on the satellite when you first set them up. I was like "Wait..... these are awfully quiet with the computer and iTunes volumes both cranked...... oh yeah! Tiny, shiny new buttons!"

I also have the Bose Campion 5 which is better for movie. Soundsticks are better for music on account of a tighter bass response. I paid nearly double for the Campion 5. Both systems are made with a quality feel; I especially like the Harmon/Kardon's cables being braided very nice. For the price point in these soundsticks, I think it would be very hard to do better. And what I liked about these is that they have been making these with very little change for nearly 20 yrs..,the kinks should have been long thought out by now. 5 stars for base response. 4 overall.

I bought these to replace an old set of Sonys that I quite liked, but I have to say I wasn't prepared for the difference in sound quality (I had always admired the design). They sound good when iTunes equalizer settings and the bass on the subwoofer are flat but they do need some adjustment in order to maximize the sound. I like heavy bass and strong treble with the midrange dimmed a bit. With a bit of fiddling, these speakers are awesome. The bass and highs are crisp and strong and you can really crank these things. My only quibble is the location of the on/off/bass control... on the back of the sub. Come on, HK – should have been on one of the satellites (like my old Sonys). In any case, the bass is set at about 2 o'clock and I just leave them on. I phoned HK support and they said always leaving the system on was fine if you're OK with the glow light being on. Not a problem. Anyway, to sum up... these babies could cost twice as much and they'd still be a good deal.
