I bought two of these flasks for my wife and I for football season. They are exactly as advertised. Well, almost. The flasks I received are 12 oz flasks, not 10. The packaging says they are 10 oz as well, but they aren't. They seemed more than 2 oz larger than the 8 oz steel flasks I already own. So, I filled it with water and poured it into a measuring cup. 12 oz exactly. Now, someone is probably going to say big deal. I paid for 10 and I got 12. I got 2 oz free. But when it comes to flasks, discretion is everything, and a larger flask is NOT ideal. Just give me what was advertised and what I thought I was buying.
since reviews seem to be mixed for different products, this is for the 10oz white plastic flask. Simply put, it leaks 9 out of 10 times I put the lid on - talking about the white plastic lid hidden under the metal shot glass lid. It has a flimsy foam piece as the "seal", and it just doesn't work. Will be OK if I leave it upright, but no way I'd ever take it when I couldn't watch it the entire time to ensure it is upright.
Wish I would have looked more at the negative reviews - the positive ones were more for the metal flasks that are a completely different product. I really hate that Amazon co-mingles reviews like in this case
I bought this to keep in my travel stuff for non-alcohol use. The price and quality are in line with each other. I kept it in a zip-loc bag and it did leak when it wasn't kept vertical. I bought one of the Stanley metal ones after this and it is much higher quality for not much additional cost.
I use this for watercolor. The metal cap is a plus as it can act as a small cup to rinse my brushes. There is an additional plastic screw on cap underneath to make sure water doesn't leak. Good size for my plein air bag.
