I am a highly advanced Home and Personal Chef. Weight measurements are sometimes critically important for some culinary activities, including baking and making roux.
This scale and it's accompanying phone app work very well for my needs. Bluetooth connection to my iPhone was uneventful and it has worked well over the last 10-months since I first purchased the scale. Tested for repeated accuracy and always within a1:100th of a gram.
My only issue and that caused a one star reduction was the scale does not hold a charge for very long...or at least as long as I would desire. It is frustrating to grab the scale and discover that it has run out of it's charge. I would have preferred this system with battery or AC power vs. the rechargeability. Not a deal-breaker though and I've learned to put it on charge when closing my kitchen for the day.
All in all, I have been pleased with both the scale, and the multiple capabilities of the phone app. It's a strong FOUR STARS for me...(call it 4.5 out of 5) and gets my honest recommendation. Good value at the price offered!

Works accurately. I've had no issues with the numbers jumping around while an object is sitting on the scale. Tare works fine. Comes with a USB charging cord and some simple directions. Buttons on the face are pretty intuitive. Also comes with two hard plastic clear covers — what am I supposed to do with these? I kept the big one for storage protection.
Anyway, the scale shows the weight in grams, pounds (this is idiotic, IMO, and should be ounces), and ml. To get measurements in ounces, you need to download and connect it to the app, which I'm honestly not interested in doing.
Any kind of large item (plate, bowl, etc.) will hide the face of the scale, so take that into consideration. I got it to measure tea into large kraft bags, so it works fine for my purposes.
Overall a good scale. If the downsides don't seem like they'd bother you, then you'll like it just fine.
4.0 out of 5 starsGreat scale (by itself without the app)

This scale works great by itself (with the app) just as a scale. I use the Lose-It app to track calories, so I just need this for an accurate weight. I did not want (or need) to install another app on my phone. This works great for what I needed it for ... to weight my food (primarily meat).
Very hard to do an initial setup on this item. Application is very convoluted. Four or five different apps are included making it very confusing. Sometimes hard to say which app you need. Once connected does a good job displaying the correct weights. Read directions and look at people's comments before proceeding.
The scale is nice and well made and it seems to be accurate. The app was glitching on me so I'm not using the app but the scale works and looks really good. I love that it has the capability to weight 3000 grams so I can tare glass jars, it's nice.
