Adequate but pricey :(

First time I've ever tried anything by Murad and as I've long used toners I figured this might be a good one to try out. After years of using fairly cheap "standard" toners I was also keen to see if the price meant a really incredible prodict by comparison. It comes in a nice spray bottle which is great as I tend to find I overdo the bottle ones.

It's a lot lighter in every sense - very light perfume - nothing amazing but equally not a scent that will have you cringing. Apply it to cotton wool and then use it as normal. For me though it did an adequate job but barely - maybe my skin's picking up more debris than before (having work done on my house) but I don't even wear make up and I felt this toner struggled. Perhaps it's the price that's making me expect more but with this one, I found that if I used it and then did another go over with my cheap one, there was more yet to remove. And personally I didn't find it moisturisung my skin to any degree either but that's the thing with products like this - everyone will find different results. I accept it's possible that you need to use other products in the Murad range to really get good results all round.

I think if you're looking for a good moisturising toner there are probably others out there that will do the job a little less expensively. But ultimately if you like the sound of this one it'll maybe be the right one for you.

Nice product but so are others

This is a nice enough toner but it would need to be at this price. I have sensitive skin as a result of medication and this didn't irritate my skin, sting or cause any redness. Some cheap toners can leave my skin feeling uncomfortably tight and dried out and again this one doesn't. I quite like the spray as it is quite refreshing. What it really comes down to is that the Boots No 7 toner I usually use is just as good but at a third of the price. Simple's toner is even cheaper although as I've got older I find that it can be a little drying, and one of the L'Oreal toners (Hydra Total 5) for dry/sensitive skin is also good. I am happy to shell out for moisturisers, serums and masks but I am less convinced that expensive toners are much better than high street brands, and that is certainly my view of this one. Clearly these things depend on your skin type and sensitivities to ingredients, etc..For me though, whilst this is a perfectly nice product, I don't think it is great value for money.

Decent Toner but expensive and promises much

Toner is a pretty decent toner with a fresh orange fragrance.
Good at removing any traces of make up left behind after cleansing and does not leave your skin feeling tight. Does it do what it says it does? Id say no, apart from
Functioning as a lesser priced high street Toner with a nicer fresher smell and feel. It's very expensive for a toner and with so little advantage.

Saying that it is a good product but has been over hyped by the marketing and is very expensive.

The spray is quite wide and fierce, and it is difficult to avoid the eyes (and if you don't they sting a lot), so it's probably better to spray it onto a cotton pad and then apply. I have combination skin and didn't find it made any noticeable difference but it has a pleasant scent and feels refreshing on the skin.

Beware of packaging change

I've purchased -- and LOVED -- this product many times before, largely because of the convenient spray bottle packaging. But in their shift to more sustainable packaging (hooray for that!), they ditched the spray bottle. But all the photos on here still have the old packaging so I was super disappointed when mine arrived in the new packaging. It's too annoying to return something as small as a bottle of toner, but I probably wouldn't have purchased it in the first place, had I known. Why not sell a refillable spray bottle alongside, to alleviate some of the environmental impact?

Pleasant smell though I wouldn’t call it an orange smell. It’s nice in that it doesn’t leave a residue (my favorite one leaves a bit of one). However, I did not notice an improvement in my face. Was hoping to temper out the occasional redness. So IMO not worth the money.

My favorite smells wonderful, leaves a smidge of a residue but improves my face (I feel) it’s Son & Park beauty water. Love it.

I could live without this product but you have to admit it lasts a long time. I've been using this product pretty consistently, and it has not shown me any difference in texture nor appearance. I don't use it with the rest of the products in the line, so perhaps that may make a difference.
