Was a little worried since it said not to use on headers. I used on the pipe going from headers to exhaust. I had a leak on the top on my exhaust pipe after installing with clamps. A welder cant get the top of exhaust, no other patches worked that lordco sold (spider wrap muffler patch all junk) This stuff actually holding up after 3 months.. rock hard. only complaint, not enough foil tap wrap
The Heat wrap worked as promised, once it hardened, and did exactly what I was expecting. However, it took much longer than 1 hour, and, when I had the car started waiting for it to harden, some of the liquid was moving around, creating little paths of exhaust air which never got sealed. Just let it sit much longer than the instructions say. Beyond that, after 2 months, the junction remains sealed, and the Heat Wrap did exactly what I was expecting. Well done FiberFix
Like everything else we buy I wish there was just a little more but… It did exactly what I needed it for and more. I have a hole in atv exhaust about 2” and I was able to wrap that part a few times to seal it up as well as a split in bottom of the muffler section I have enough to wrap around most it. Will buy again as I need a little more. Recommend this product
I give it a 4* out of 5 mainly cause of the cost. Although the product seems to be amazing so far it's just rather expensive to patch up some holes in an exhaust but all in all I'm very happy and will definitely buy more of this if I need a patch job for exhaust work on my old beater of a corolla
Used to repair exhaust. It was easy to use. Just follow the instruction. Repair my car a few weeks ago now and the repair made with this product still hold, but not sure how long this repair will last.
I noticed a bunch of reviews that said it wasn't great. This is probably only a temporary fix for most situations. I wrapped a hole in a resonator, so it could only wrap around twice but so far a week later it's still holding.
