I did not receive My Little Pony bandages. Instead received planet and stars bandages. My little pony was ordered for a reason, an important reason to a 3 year old girl. The fact that I could NOT RETURN the wrong shipment is even more frustrating. MAKE SURE YOU WANT PLANETS AND STARS BANDAGES BEFORE PLACING YOUR ORDER FOR MY LITTLE PONY BANDAGES. I’m ready to cancel my prime membership over this!!!
I have one of those preschoolers who thinks that bandaids are for putting on all toys and all over the stinking place. She loves these, and they work for just as long as she remembers she has a scratch, so like 5 minutes or less. When they are put on stuffed animals or the carpet or walls though, they don't damage anything because they are not sticky or stretchy or really very great as band-aids. They are excellent as toddler stickers though. I didn't give them 4 stars as band-aids, but as preschooler band-aid decoys.
I don't know if we got a bad box? These are HORRIBLE! They have zero stickiness. ZERO. The tape doesn't stick to your skin. It doesn't stick to itself. Point blank it just doesn't stick. I have opened dozens of these and they are all the same. They are completely worthless. You are better of just going to the dollar store. We threw the rest of the box away.
My daughter loves these designs, but the way the individual bandages open is really weird. Instead of pulling apart the package from the top and splitting it all the way down these open from the sides by pulling from the middle on both sides apart. The bandages inside do not have their own adhesive backings so once you open the outer package the sticky side of the bandage is already exposed. This makes it almost impossible for our 3 year old to open them herself without lots of bandages sticking to themselves and being ruined from the start. She has no problem opening or using any other type of bandage with the normal open from the top package.
I bought it months ago. Never used it for myself. Only my daughter (4yr) who is a fan of MLP, she used them occasionally on her toes or fingers. My daughter put this bandage about a week ago on my knee when she saw a small bruise I got on my knee (probably just bumped into some drawer I can't even recall). There was no scar or even a scratch since it was a just small bruise. I just had it over that night only and took it off because it was itchy and felt like some kind of allergic reaction happened. YES, I got a rash or scar that looks like my skin got burned. (I'm nor sensitive or allergic to anything.) It is still hurting me after 5days and not getting better. While the bruise is gone I still have that swollen red rash that clearly shows shape of bandage sticking part. (So the middle /gauze part is ok.) It seems getting worse and I dont know if I might have to go to the doctor anytime soon.. thank god I only used them on my daughter's toe. Can't even imagine what would have happened. From now on, I will try all the new bandages I buy before my daughter use them. I threw everything away. Dangerous product even for adults.
My kid likes to wear band-aids like they're beauty accessories, so having a gazillion of these on hand, at low cost, is great. The fact that they're latex-free is even better, b/c my kid has reactions to latex. I don't know why people are so confused by the packing. Per the instructions, you grab both ends of the wrapper and pull it apart. The band-aid is in the middle. I showed my 3-year old one time and she knows how to do it herself.
I've been wearing them on my toe where a shoe has been rubbing -- one will stay on for 2-3 days.
My Little Pony Bandages 100 per Pack are a good value, especially if you have a child that really likes them and looks for any excuse to put on a band-aid. There are a couple different designs, very cute, definitely for a child or for the child in you. We put them on "owies" of any size.
Cute for MLP fan. Only two prints but for my 5 yo daughter, it's fine. She comes up with daily reasons (99% fake injuries) why she needs a bandage and since the price of these are reasonable, I tend to give in more often than not. Good buy.
