Not the same as previous orders of the same product. they have now cut corners on the production and they are hard to stuff because of the very tiny side wall margins --------will not purchase again ---now has become an inferior product. too bad!!!
I had purchased several boxes of these previously and was very satisfied with them. Unfortunately the last two boxes that came in I have had to return due to damage to the envelopes. They came with a large bend/ding running through the entire case of 500 envelopes. The right side of each individual envelope is damaged/bent. They look unprofessional, like someone jammed them in a desk drawer and would not be suitable for business use. I suspect something changed in the manufacturing process as I never had this problem previously and the 2 cases were purchased a few weeks apart. This doesn't appear to be something that could occur in transit or storage. I will re-order in a few months to see if the manufacturer solves the problem. For now I will move on to a different brand.
These are awful envelopes. They wrinkle easily when handled. Description states 24 # paper...could have fooled me as it doesn't feel like it. Paper has a 'slippery' feel to it. Tape strips are thin and cheap...measures 1/8 ". They curl up like ribbon and the static electricity from pulling off the seal strip causes them to cling to your hand. The only good feature is the tinted security feature on the inside of the envelope
I would give these envelopes no stars if possible. They are extremely thin and flimsy. The adhesive strips don't even work! Almost every envelope we have used so far has come open! Total JUNK. We are throwing them away and buying new ones. Its a shame that amazon is starting to get nothing but junk products anymore.
The sides come open. You can't put anything thicker than a check in there or it will come open. I have to tape the sides anytime I use them. It is to frustrating I may just throw them away and buy another brand.
1. remove the cover over the sealant on flap. 2. press flap down firmly to close/seal the envelope.. 3. wait 30 seconds or a minute. 4. flap is now loose. as if no glue were present. 5. to mail, you must use tape (like scotch tape) to seal the envelope. 5a. or apply your own glue to the flap. 6. i tried several envelopes. same result with all. 7. very disappointed in this product.
No happy so far. May have to return the item. First 3 envelopes tore on the sides when I went to insert letter. Finally got the 4th one to work. I'm going to try a few more but if it persists, I'll return them
The adhesive on the flap is designed poorly such that if you put more than one thickness of paper in the envelope, the slightest bulge will cause the adhesive to stick to the contents in the envelope. I DON'T recommend these envelopes.
