This printer has been pretty much the best home printer I've ever owned. I would caveat that by saying that home printers are (in my experience) the worst consumer electronic item currently in production. The 1210W did the job pretty well for a time. It was relatively painless to set up wirelessly. It produced high quality prints without running through cartridges too quickly. It seemingly never broke down. Then, almost exactly 2 years after we bought it, it just stopped working, flashing an impenetrable series of error messages. It therefore exceeded my expectations of home printers in general, but still a disappointing experience overall!
