I bought these to try and improve my accuracy and overall play in fortnite. Either I suddenly just started getting 7-9 kill solo games from 2-4 or these thumb sticks work like magic. It takes about two days to get used to but after that I noticed that my tracking and accuracy close and long range had become astronomically better. If you want to get better at a certain game these will help so much.
I have these on my three controllers but only on the right stick and my game play improved almost immediately, I saw a youtube video recommending these for a better aim in the Division on console and I've got to say they really do work. 14.99 seems a lot but if you get better at playing your games then I personally think they are worth it.
I like these things. I bought mine a few weeks ago to aid with aim control in FPS games. I didnt notice an immediate difference. But after using it for a week, it felt wrong playing without it. Now im used to it i can really appreciate the additional sensitivity it provides. It wont improve your gaming 10fold, but itll sharpen your aim a bit. My only gripe is that it can ping off rather easily if you move the stick too heavily. This tends to happen in the most heated moments which can be a huge distraction if it falls off. But you get used to being less aggressive on it over time and it happens less often. Also, they are slightly overpriced for what you actually get. But seeing that you only really need one on the right stick, you do kinda get a spare, or go halves with your bro and have 1 each.
Finally, you might notice the range of colours available. These red ones are the tallest, and apparently best for FPS. But im sure theres an element of personal preference.
I replaced my CQC Signature KontrolFreeks with these Infernos - much better as they're slightly taller and actually easier going on your thumbs. I can turn my sensitivity up (on Rainbow Six Siege) and these see to help a lot more with my gameplay/accuracy. Didn't think these would work and that they're a bit gimmicky but have to say I've changed my mind and a fan now.
Bought these exclusively for Call of duty/Warzone, I play on 6-6 Sensitivity and i was able to move up to 10-10 without even noticing a difference, really gives you more control and accuracy, 3 of my friends have now bought them so for the price you just cant beat it, i wish i had purchased a different colour as they kind of stand out, i wasnt expecting them to be that high either but you get used to it within an hour or two.
Bought these to help with some tired thumbsticks on a PS4 DS v1 controller. Probably more the fault of the controller as the rubber had started to get a bit worn but they don't stay attached very well. Twice have come off during some heavy fighting on Fortnite. I'm tempted to drop a smidge of glue as otherwise they work well and do give more accuracy
Kontrol Freeks actually help improve you aim significantly from my experience! There's a great video on their YouTube channel explaining the science behind why they help. Essentially increasing the arc distance of the stick allowing greater range of movements for increased control.
They do take a couple of days to get used to. 2-4 days I'd say. Oh, and I think they're really only useful when playing shooters.
One thing I'd say is they're a little expensive, I wish they'd be a few quid cheaper.
Cost is high for what you get physically but the improvement in looks, feels and performance you get over the stock offerings is very much worth the price imho. You'll never go back to those tiny naked stock sticks once you find the KF that suits your gaming wants. Very highly recommended.
Do not let the price put You off!!! A must need for anyone who loves shooting games. Precise and quicker for kills on gaming will improve your KD. Only use the one On the right analog so you have two of them. They are small and sturdy and just click on top of your existing analog
