I originally gave this 5 stars. It fits in a good sized man's pocket and is very welcome if you get thirsty. It seems easy to clean and very well made but it has a huge design flaw.
As you can see in their pictures, the top is hinged and a little clip keeps it down. That clip has a ridge (perhaps a millimeter of plastic) that snaps over the lower part of the bottle. Because the bottle is mostly hard, durable plastic it sort of bounces if its jostled or falls over. Bouncing springs the clip, the bottle opens and sometimes the ridge breaks.
My bottle fell from a pocket - maybe 2 feet - and the ridge on the locking clip broke off. Now I can't snap down the lid.
It really, really, needs a more robust clip. It's brilliant in every other aspect.
I liked the design of this flask. However, the third time I used it the cap broke into pieces when I tried to open it. I was carrying it in my golf bag so it wasn't abused. This is a piece of crap and return window is closed which really upsets me!
I use this flask when attending games. Fits easily it back pocket or sock and doesn't bother the attendants at the metal detectors looking for weapons, with needless detections. Having the top open makes for easy filling and it doesn't leak.
So easy to fill and clean! It holds up to really cold temps too. 1 of the days I had it with me in Colorado it was -6. No cracking or swelling of the plastic. My metal flasks are going in the trash. It fit in the front pocket of my ski jacket.
