To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we do not use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Bought this after reading great reviews with the hope of keeping my brand new Cuisinart Toaster Oven shiny and new looking longer. I placed in the very bottom crumb tray as other reviewers said they did - but after about 3 or 4 uses - just making toast ... I removed to clean and noticed it had started to melt, leaving black plastic-y residue on the brand new crumb tray. I was able to scrub most of it off but it left some black marks not to mention scrub marks. I would have been better off leaving it alone and just being diligent about cleaning the damn tray regularly. Really regretting this $8 impulse buy that messed up my $80 toaster oven.... I'm just grateful I noticed this before it got any worse or turned into a real fire!
I purchased on Amazon Breville Smart Oven Pro, Just below under "frequently bought together" Was is nonstick toaster oven liner So I thought what the hell. When it arrived and I place it on the bottom of the toaster I thought what the hell! It's too small, even if I use both of them it's still not big enough. I'm just going back using Reynolds nonstick aluminum foil, It covers 100%.
After three toasting I cleaned the tray out. I am upset as my toaster oven is brand new and it stained and burnt onto the catch tray. I would like you to replace my part and tray please! This is BS and i want a refund too.
These (you get 2) toaster oven liners are a DREAM.
When I first opened the package I was surprised at how thin they are. My brain thought something appearing flimsy couldn't last or work well in a counter top oven (Breville Smart Oven).
This is why I've learned over the years to not go by first impressions.
Thin as stated...slipped right on to the crumb tray. Now I needed to test it out. What better crash test dummy than a teenage son who CAN cook with minimal to moderate caution tape required for the kitchen?
My most loved only child wanted a toasted garlic bagel. Butter and cheese on top.
Garlic bits, butter drips, burned cheese gobs...all hit the liner. Some got a tad 'toasty' but the fire extinguisher stayed in it's place.
While he stuffed his face I went after the liner as soon as the oven cooled down.
Everything slid off with one wipe of a paper towel. No chemical smell from the liner. A little soapy water, towel dried and back into the oven it went.
My OCD is at bay, my crumb tray is spotless and DS can overload his toppings to his heart's content.
This item melted to my brand new toaster oven on the very first use. It was a recommended add-on to the toaster oven I purchased. I cut the liner to fit in the bottom of my toaster oven, set the temp to 400 degrees Fahrenheit to pre-heat, and started smelling the melting within a couple minutes. Good thing I noticed because I’m afraid it would have melted more and caught on fire. I DO NOT recommend this item.
