4.0 out of 5 starsNice light fresh peppermint scent, works with jojoba oil to deter birds and rodents from my garden
Reviewed in the United States on 28 June 2020
This is a light scent peppermint oil. It smells very nice, but I was hoping for something much stronger. The brand I tried previously was a lot more pungent.
I mix this with jojoba oil and use in my garden to deter birds, and other things that like to eat my fruits and vegetables. Despite it's lighter scent it seems to work just as well as a deterrent.
I imagine this would make a great use in a diffuse or as a body oil as well, though we don't use it for that. I am tempted to try it in my washer with the tea tree oil though. I'll wait until the end of the gardening season because as persistent as the birds have been this year, I might need it all.
There is no current retail price listed at the time of this review, but as long as it's not excessively more expensive that other brands of similar size, I'd definitely recommend it.
4.0 out of 5 starsVery potent, lovely scent, definitely peppermint

This comes with an eyedropper. The bottle does not have a built-in dropper, but it is an amber bottle with a narrow opening, so it is a very good bottle for essential oils. I would give this a 5 but there is no where on the bottle or packaging noting that this is steam distilled. It certainly smells like it is, but I prefer to know on my labeling. The scent is very potent and true to peppermint. It's not just a generic mint, but undeniably peppermint. It's clear and diffuses and mixes very well. I am quite pleased with the quality of the oil. The box is also very nice and makes for a nice presentation.
4.0 out of 5 starsGood Starter Peppermint Essential Oil With Dropper Included

While I’m not an essential oil expert, I do frequently use them in topical mixtures, uses around the house and aromatherapy. This peppermint essential oil’s scent smells as I expect peppermint to smell, but perhaps just slightly milder. I appreciate the handy dropper included within the box, which makes dispensing on drop at a time much easier than from the bottle without it. The brand packaging is so cute and thoughtfully designed it just makes me smile. For me, peppermint essential oil is one of the EOs that I consider a basic essential part of my essential oil collection. I like this peppermint oil for topical and household usage. Thanks for reading.
This little bottle of peppermint essential oil smells pleasant and the quality seems good. I get a strong whiff when I open the bottle but the second whiff never smells as strong. This seems typical of most peppermint essential oils that I've purchased in the past. I use peppermint in a variety of things so I've tried different brands. This one by Soulflower seems typical, in my opinion. But true peppermint oil is a pretty generic item anyway. It smells authentic. It comes well packaged in a box and has a dropper packaged with it for convenience.
4.0 out of 5 starsGood quality but a terrible value

This is good quality peppermint essential oil. However, peppermint oil is one of the least expensive essential oils, so it's very expensive as it is just a 1 fl. oz. bottle but is priced like other brands' 4 fl. oz. bottles.
