So this is perfect for what it is. Sturdy and snug, the bottle of home made wine i was all set to ship to a friend fit perfectly. BUUUUUT, at the Post Office I discover that it is 100% illegal to ship alcohol. So I'm out a few bucks which isn't a biggy. But it would have been nice to know before purchase.

I purchased this winebox for a 13" tall 750ml liquor bottle. After reading a few reviews, I figured my bottle would fit nicely. It did only after cutting out a notch on both sides of the box so that the cap would sit nicely inside. I need to find another option for a shipping bottle box.

Little disappointed. The actual bottle holder (packing) came slightly crushed. You should also know these come with two LARGE disclaimers printed on the outside of the box. One is something to do with the contents being liquid and the other is about the dangers of consuming alcohol.

The boxes arrive put together and sealed with a barcode on them like they were already shipped somewhere. So you have to cut them open to use them and peel off that barcode so that when you ship them there are no confusing extra labels. And if you purchase 5, like I did, they arrive in a giant box. Very bad for the environment. Ended up seeing them cheaper elsewhere too.
