To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we do not use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Installed this switch and it worked as it was supposed to, however the LED lights didn't work. Trying to find out how to contact the seller to get a replacement since it's supposed to be under warranty. Will change my rating from one star to five if seller comes through. Update: Pulled the switch and made a new jumper harness to just get the LED lights working. The LED's are definitely inop on my switch. They will not light momentarily nor when power is applied directly for a constant keyed on. Amazon won't replace the item (outside the 30 day window) and I can't find anyway to use the warranty via Amazon.
I loved this switch at first. It was simple to wire up and clipped into my dash easily in the hole I cut out. I wired it into my winch control box as is intended. It worked great during the test run once completed. The first two times I needed to used my winch it worked fine. Then it quit working altogether without warning. I had to wrap the winch cable around the front bumper as it would not power in. Fortunately I had hard wired a back up controller under the hood.
This winch switch fit perfectly however my Particular switch was sticking on the “in” position. I hadn’t realized it until smoke appeared from the front of my rzr. The rubber stopper was totally smashed, the winch cable was sucked in and jammed and the power lead to the winch melted. After fixing everything, winch seems to be working but not sure if it still has 4500lbs of capacity. If you purchase one, verify it’s doesn’t stick.
The switch didn’t light up I wired it both ways but the instructions are junk when messing with the switch trying to get it to work the ground terminal pulled out of the switch. This is causing the lights not to work.
