If you're wondering if your 5-year-old is too big? He's not. Neither is your 8-year-old.
The 50KG weight limit sounds like a lot for a "baby" float. It's not a baby float. It's a "child" float. If you're looking for a seat-type float for a larger child, this is your ticket.
Disabled or challenged preteen who needs additional floating support? Hope (s)he likes unicorns, because here's what you need.
The kid in the attached photo is 5'0" and about 115 lbs -- five pounds over the official "50 KG" limit. It's a good fit, not even tight. The leg holes are big enough, the seat area is big enough, it's bouyant enough, and it's strong enough. We put this person in there originally just for the photo but he then floated around the pool in it for close to an hour. Your twelve-year-old would fit in this thing.
Super cute! We bought this to bring on our trip to Cancun. Perfect size for my 3 year old daughter. The rope on the front is a nice touch....she loved it as I pulled her along. She was definitely the envy of all the kids at the pool!
Great Float but did not work for what I wanted it for. I planned on using it for a Cosplay outfit for Fortnite backbling. It was giant. Literally looked crazy. Reconsider if you wanted to use it for that purpose. Other than that, it seems to be a great pool float. I gave it 5 stars, because the product arrived quickly and was not defected.
My daughter loves this. I bought it for her after her previous floatie got a hole in it. She is a fan of unicorns and I was surprised when I received this because it is very sturdy. You can tell the quality of the rubber/plastic material is much thicker than other floaties I've seen. It holds air much more effectively.
I blew this up for her around June / July for the summer swimming and haven't added air since (now September). It still is holding the air. Plus, she has used it a number of times this summer in the pool and it held up well.
We bought this for our 3 year old for vacation at an all inclusive resort. She loved it and was able to comfortably sit up - I loved that it had a string so I could pull her about or hook up to her when I was in my own float. Great quality as well.
We recently went to Cabo San Lucas and took this raft. my granddaughter had so much fun and it was sturdy, easy and a blast. I am actually ordering 2 more today for our pool so all the kids have one!!! Highly recommend!
This was so perfect for our Hawaii trip! I didn’t take up very much room in the suitcase and my daughter loved loved loved it! She’s three and she wore a life jacket in it so I didn’t mind that it seems like she might topple over in it. We actually practiced how to hold her breath and kick her legs out if she were to follow her just so she could be prepared. I’m so impressed because it’s still usable even after our trip and I’m looking forward to using it for the pool this summer
My little girl was delighted to see the float but she quickly showed me we couldn’t use it. She wiggled one leg out and into the other hole in a couple of seconds and she’s so thin plus the leg holes are a little large that she slipped right through it. NOT that I would leave her unattended in it but it happened QUICK with me RIGHT BESIDE HER. She is 2’8” and 18 lbs. maybe next year.
