Hello from Calgary. Bought this net to teach my toddler girls some soccer skills. Plastic broke at corners upon putting it together, making it unusable. Plastic at corners supporting frame is brittle and breaks almost instantly. I’m surprised they are still selling this as every other review seems to indicate the same problem.
Horrible construction! It's a great design & weight but when you shift the bars into place, there are only little plastic tabs keeping pieces together. After opening up twice, the tab snapped & the next day another tab snapped making it useless. For something aimed at little kids, one would think sturdier construction would be present. I returned.
This broke in the first 10 minutes. I have 3&4 yr old girls and they aren’t what I consider to be destructive. They prefer to sit under it and play “baby & mommy” instead of playing soccer but a hinge snapped pretty easily. It’s still usable and we can still fold it for storage-the best part! It folds into the shape of a folding baseball chair. Easy to pop-up/assemble. Color is cute and bright, came with a ball we gave to the dog-he popped it right away. Definitely won’t buy again until my daughters show more interest in soccer. Our first soccer season was canceled after one class bc of Covid19. So many next year?
This was such a disappointment. Franklin products are usually good quality but this soccer goal is just plain bad. The plastic is so soft that with very, very little pressure the joints simply break apart. One joint was broken out of the box and another broke within minutes. The box was also missing the needle for the air pump to blow up the tiny soccer ball that was included. Definitely avoid buying this if you intend to to anything other than look at it.
My 3 year old grandson and 5 year old granddaughter love this. I had to buy another ball because the two of them were fighting over it. I am keeping it here at my house for the time being and my grandson was not happy over leaving it. He tried to carry the net with him. Guess you can say it was a hit!
I wanted to get my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter something she could play with in the backyard for Christmas. She already likes to kick a ball. She was thrilled with this gift and plays with it a lot. Yes, the ball is small. It's for a toddler or small child. Very happy with this purchase.
