I was looking to get my cockatiel off the typical seed diet she had been eating and I had already tried Harrison’s (which I LOVE and highly recommend for larger birds) but she wasn’t having it. I think this was a good compromise. This is the only seed mix she eats now and I have seen an improvement in her poops since starting it. Let’s face it, as bird owners we look at and notice our birds poop! They are larger and healthier looking. It didn’t take long for her to accept this food, it was a pretty easy transition. I would recommend it. She wasn’t a fan of the fruit flavor one but she does like this one.

My Conures love it

My Conures really love this. I use it as more of a treat as they are on pellets. One of them, Indie, will return to the cage for it if he sees me put it in the bowl. They normally avoid going into the cage once they are out. So it has the Indie seal of approval.

A great snack for your small companion bird, this is a great quality product from Lafeber. My parakeet loves them and eats them before she dives into her pellets. They can be a good training step to wean your bird off seeds or an everyday partner to pellets. Recommended by Bitsy and budgies everywhere. Yum yum!

I buy this all the time. I use it as a “treat” . ..clip a small slice of it for desert after dinner each night. Normally he eats a combination of seeds and pellets and some people food like spinach leaves or apple slice etc
HOWEVER : his little beady eyes light up and he starts singing when the Avi Cakes arrive 🥰
