Vacuum pressure is really hard on breasts

The product looks good and have quality. But it defeat its purpose. The pressure is too much on vacuum and is hurting the breasts. It’s better to buy electrical pump rather than this which will also cost less.

Bought this to replace old lansinoh pump. I like that the milk goes straight into bottle to reduce leaks, but I found it goes up into membrane if you angle the wrong way. Any moisture in membrane will cause it to make lots of noise. The sillicone flange is comfortable but sometimes I find it hard to get a good seal. I found lansinoh pump had stronger suction but this one is enough for me so it will be my main on the go pump because it's compact. I find it easier to clean and easier to travel with. I mainly use an electric pump so this is just back up

I bought this as a supplement to my electric pump since I am currently exclusively pumping and can’t risk missing a pumping session. I am so pleased with it! The day after it arrived, I wound up spending a day in the ER, and having this in my bag made what could have been an agonizing day that derailed my breastfeeding efforts entirely much less painful.

It’s small and discreet enough that I could even pump in the waiting room with a burp cloth thrown over my shoulder and nobody even looked twice. And the parts come apart and rinse easily for keeping it clean out of the house. It fits in my diaper bag or purse and doesn’t take up much more room than a bottle. The silicone liner makes the flange more comfortable than most.

Of course it isn’t as powerful as an electric pump, but I do like that you control both the strength and speed of the suction pattern- by holding the handle down when you’re getting a stream of milk until it stops, you can drain the breast more efficiently than a preprogrammed pumping pattern. I’ve used it at home a few times when my electric pump parts were in the dishwasher, and been pleasantly surprised at how comparable my output is in a similar time, even though I can’t double pump with this.

I had a Medela manual pump for a previous pregnancy and this one seems superior in every way. Highly recommended for anyone breastfeeding, whether you’re exclusively pumping or only need to pump occasionally. Having this on hand if you’re separated from your baby or your electric pump for more than a few hours could be the difference between developing mastitis/damaging your supply and being just fine.

"Don't buy a hand pump," they said. "You'll regret it," they said. Well, it was listed for a great price so I took a chance on it since it fits right onto the Avent bottles that we use, and I LOVE IT. It's perfect for bringing with me to work, as it doesn't take up much room in my bag (compared to my Medela electric pump and all of its accompanying accessories). It is crazy easy to disassemble, clean, and reassemble. Every single part goes right into my dishwasher and will also fit into my Avent electric steam sterilizer. The instruction manual that came with it said to expect it to take ten minutes to pump 2 oz, but I'm able to drain both breasts in about five minutes, and I get around 3 oz (when I'm not engorged). It doesn't hurt my nipples at all, though I like a stronger suction than most people probably do. I've only been using this pump for half a day so far, but I'm ordering a second one now because it's so great and I don't want to run my dishwasher every day. My hands really don't get that tired pumping with it either. One thing to note: I read many reviews stating that this pump is noisy, but I believe that to be user error. It DOES make a weird noise when it is not suctioned to my breast properly. A quick readjust and it is silent - just like when baby is latched properly vs improperly. If baby is making noise while nursing, readjust them because they don't have a good latch.

Works super great when I need to get a quick pump in and don’t want to fiddle with the electric pump. It did have some squeaking, but I saw one review where she used nipple cream to lubricant the silicone part that makes the noise, and it’s nice and quiet once I did that. Easy to clean, I like having control over the suction pattern. I still primarily use my electric pump, but this comes in handy when I need to just drain some milk real quick and don’t have time to sit down for a full pumping session. I also love that I can pump directly into the bottle, makes being on the go super easy. I haven’t tried any other manual pumps to compare, but this was worth the price. I picked this one because of the cap that goes over the flange and the fact it connects to the bottles we are using anyways. I still might get a medela just to try and compare, but so far I’m loving this one!

Portable, convenient, but can be exhausting to use

PROS:
Lightweight and travel friendly. I love being able to use this in the middle of the night when my baby doesn't nurse for long periods and my breasts need relief. Great to have an extra bottle in the morning so someone else can feed the baby and I can get other tasks done. Also helpful if you're out and about without baby and in need of releasing milk to prevent breast engorgement (hardness, pain, lumps).

I do prefer my double electric breast pump as it is more efficient and doesn't require manual work but it's not convenient in the middle of the night.

CONS:
My hand/forearm aches sometimes from the repetitive squeezing. The design doesn't have the best ergonomics.
Sometimes it makes a squeaking noise that almost wakes my baby up. I double check all the parts to see if they aren't lined up / attached correctly but can't seem to fix the issue.
The silicone breast shield is comfortable but it doesn't really stay in place and often peels back around the edges from the layer of plastic underneath which likely affects the vacuum seal.

Would you believe this works better for me than their double electric breast pump?

I also pump milk out faster too. Sure my hand gets a little tired, but they're just underworked. I'll probably buy another one to keep on the go, and at home.

Squeaks quite a bit though, so not super "quiet", but honestly I didn't expect it to be.

Suction can be a tiny bit strange, being as I swear everything is covered and then suddenly suction is ok again 🤷‍♀️
