To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we do not use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Although we had differences about the authenticity of the product, the seller was quite responsive and cooperative in issuing a refund. So while we are disappointed about the product itself we are quite satisfied about the service provided by the seller and we will definitely consider buying from them again
My 39th birthday is right around the corner and I’m already feeling some kind of way about it, so when I suddenly found new grey hairs a month ago, I maybe freaked out a little more than was necessary. They weren’t the scant silver tendrils seen weaving themselves throughout the back of my hairs like I’m used to though. NOPE. These bad boys were white, wiry, plentiful and right on display at my hairline. I was... not amused to say the least and because I have poor impulse control, I thought to myself “ Why not just pluck them out ?!” So I did. Literally one of the stupidest things I’ve ever done. 😑 What I thought was 5 hairs was like, 25 long and short hairs and plucking them left me with an actual bald spot right in the front where not one person could ignore it politely. I needed to grow some hair back FAST so I did some Amazon sleuthing as one does, found this stuff and was intrigued. Also desperate, but mostly intrigued. I’m a natural skeptic so the before and after pictures other people left didn’t tooootally convince me but like I said, I was desperate, so I bought it. You guys it actually worked! I am very surprised and almost STILL skeptical but I took before and after pictures and there is definitely hair there where before there was none. The really weird part about this whole experience for me was that the hairs grew back in as my natural hair color and not grey. I do not understand this sorcery. How I used this: I’ve only used this for about a month pretty much every day, I put it on my hairline regularly but put it all through my hair and scalp when I wash it or if I want to smooth flyaways on my ends. Only on my ends though because this “oil” is weirdly drying and will actually cause flyaways on the rest of my hair if it’s dry and I use this, but doesn’t if I use it when my hair is wet. I’ve never felt anything like this stuff btw. It’s kind of slick but slightly sticky, tingly like peppermint on the scalp and it feels like it should leave your hair sticky and greasy but somehow it dries with no residue. It smells pepperminty...🤔
Its a strange feeling product but it works so I can’t really complain.🤷🏽♀️ I will say that the squeeze bottle is laughably squeezable which is why I took off a star. I am WORKING to get the product out of this bottle! You’d need the hands of Hulk to squeeze the oil out without a struggle. But it works. I also use TGIN ( found on Amazon)on my hair regularly and my hair went from growing about 4 inches every 3 months to about 2 inches a month, but this last month it grew almost 3 inches in one month and people kept commenting on how incredibly long my hair has gotten, so I think using this oil really did help. I added this to my Subscribe and Save and I just got my second bottle, though I am not quite done with the first. I guess I’m gonna keep using it until it stops working? Usually I like to keep my hair pretty short but I’m kinda curious to see how long I can grow it now.🤓 Also, I will be plucking no more grey hairs. I’ve decided I’m just going to accept them since I don’t want to put color in my hair, nor do I want a repeat of the bald spot debacle of 2019. I learned this lesson the way I learn most of my lessons, the hard way.🙄
Easy to apply and feels good on the scalp. A nice tingling effect. But find I need more than three squirts to work into scalp. No sign of regrowth but I am still on the first bottle so I hope at the end there will be sign of something happening.
I received it on time. I have been using it and have seen a little improvement but my hair still breaks. But the front has grown. I will recommend it for anyone who want to grow hair. But my hair is 4c so it might work different on other hair tyoe
It is absolutely pointless. It is a waste of money and time. It doesn’t do anything to the hair like it is adversited. So expensive and you literally get no results. Amazon needs to sort this out like making sure that products these days do make good results to customers. Shame on Jeff as it is allowing too many people to sell on his platform without checking them properly
I am growing my hair & I read it's also good for your scalp it wasn't until I stopped using it that my scalp returned to being itchy so apart from being good for the hair it also moisturises the scalp,
This product contains arginine which is known to make cold sores worse and I had a horrible cold sore breakout while using it. I cannot 100% confirm it was due to this but I'm not going to take any chances. I believe what's absorbed through the scalp goes into the system too.
