Works exactly as stated in product description. Allows you to program the percentage with a corresponding voltage. Great for a golf cart that gets abused by kids, allowing you to program some reserve energy and preventing them from killing the batteries. I'll probably get one for my boat too. It's obviously not waterproof but should be pretty easy to make it waterproof.

4 stars because the instructions aren't super clear but they are easy enough to figure out. Spent probably 10 minutes messing with the settings and looking at the instructions and felt pretty confident making adjustments. And the temp is only in Celsius.

Easy to install. While the programming instructions could use a little rewrite to make it more clear all works well. I am using it on a 48 volt Lead Acid Battery golf cart. If the temperature indicator were in Fahrenheit I would give it 5 Stars but since I now need to use math to convert to Fahrenheit it gets 4 Stars. I would recommend to others for their golf cart.

NOTE before I forget: I think this DID remember its alarm level programming after removing power. I'll try to come back and update and confirm this.

Slightly more expensive then I think it should be (maybe 9-12$ more fair). For the price, maybe it should come with some terminal adapter options (3/8" rings, etc). You can strip the wires and just jam it between some existing terminal connections - or solder it so. The wires seemed a tad short to me - between 12-24" they seemed. All that is ok, can compensate for -- but that's why I rated the Easy to Use a little low, you need to be handy to install this.

The actual usage isn't too bad. Did have to read a little slowly thru the manual - and if I lose that manual, I don't think anyone after me will intuitively know how to set this up (and finding a PDF version might not last forever - so take pictures of that manual to archive).

The temperature wire is also a bit short, but can be extended like the main power wires.

Mostly I wanted the low charge alarm feature. I tested it at 12.5V, and ran a fan for awhile to get the power down. The alarm went off at 12.4 (i.e. it is triggered at < than your set voltage, not <=). That's fine, just wanted to confirm it. The alarm is loud enough, I hear it thru the closed doors of a wooden non-insulated shed. But not loud enough that I don't think it will concern the neighbors if it helps to be left going for a few hours (I'd say once I was 10 feet away from the shed, I had to know what I was listening for to hear it).

The audio speaker is internal I think, and I don't so far see an easy way to open it -- to put a louder speaker. There might be a way, just not ready to risk breaking it yet. So for that, there is some room for improvement here: bluetooth remote configuration by app, volume adjust for the alarm.

Despite all that -- it does do what I need it for, the voltage meter matched the CC reading, alarm goes off at the set low voltage, is loud enough for me (as I'm always nearby if any load is active).

I purchased this to monitor the battery in our Pop Up trailer. Typically where we camp there are zero hookups. We have solar for the battery, and I wanted to make sure that it is able to top the battery off during the day.
I was surprised at how small this unit is, but that's not a real concern. It does what it needs to do, and it doesn't draw a lot of power doing it. I'm able to turn it off when not in use so again, it won't drain the battery when we aren't using it. The odd bit is the temperature probe; it's on some short wires so it doesn't go far. Maybe this would be useful in a different situation but it has little use to us. It's a neat little device for the price and works great as far as I can tell.

It works... to calibrate had to use a power tool 5 cell battery(lithium ion) that gives you a aproxima-te 20 volt required to calibrate , the instruction are good but some what not user friendly to interpret... use it to monitor my 24 volt battery bank... see pic

So far it seems to be working. I'm using it in a large 40mm ammo can battery backup build with a pure sine inverter for an all in one backup solution with solar. It's off by 1/10th of a volt which can be calibrated in a complicated way and the temp is in Celsius and doesn't appear to be changeable and measures the ambient air temp around the unit itself because it doesn't have a probe. It'll do for now. This says to rate it on "sheerness" but idk what that is.

Almost just what I needed

When looking for a readout for our golf cart, the dealer that was going to work on our cart for us told us not to bother with a regular cart battery meter because they aren't accurate. I found this and saw that it included an actual voltage readout in addition to the meter and temp sensor. I'm not thrilled that you can't switch this model to °F, but that's no big deal, and they have another similar model that does. In the golf cart, it's only truly accurate when the cart is at rest. I chose to laser cut an acrylic surface mount for mine rather than cutting a big hole in my carts dash, and it looks really nice with the LED light from the semi-clear casing of the meter shining through the sides.

Great Tool But Not For 12V

This little gadget has a large screen display (for a small item) and does what it says it will...shows how much battery power is left, battery voltage and battery temperature. However, I bought this to hook to a 12v deep-level marine battery, and the wires are too tiny to hook to the battery poles. The only way to secure the wires to the battery poles is to either strip enough of the wire cover to wrap the wire around the poles or secure the wire with a nut to a threaded pole. The temperature is in Celsius (worthless) instead of having an option for Fahrenheit, but I didn't buy this for the temperature. The directions have print that is readable, but the English is incorrect (badly written), so some of the directions don't make sense. The menu in the gadget is not easy to use.
