The elephant watering can is perfect and I love the dinosaur watering can as well. The only problem I have is that the dinosaur watering can has a hole to fill it up at the back of it so if you're not super careful while carrying it you'll be spilling a lot of water!
These are good sized watering cans . They pour a perfect amount of water when you're watering your plants too. The dinosaur pours water from its mouth and the elephant pours water from its trunk.
Earlier reviews I read said their watering cans were missing eyes , mine came with their eyes and worst case scenario they're just googly eyes anyways so you can just get those at dollar tree and glue them back on.
Arrived quickly, I'm very pleased with this purchase.
I love these for little kids. Anybody who has a toddler who wants to water anything knows whatever you give them they will dump in 1 second and you will be refilling it until they are soaked and you are exhausted. This little guy has thankfully a very thin spout so once I fill it up, my 2 year old actually can drag it around and water things for a decent amount of time. And she’s thrilled!
I bought this mainly for houseplants and to share with my baby nephew. With my nephew, we only watered outside plants since toddlers tend to "accidentally" spill water everywhere. These are light and cute. I still use the elephant one on my indoor plants. The shape of elephant does mean that you really have to tilt the watering can to get the last of the water out but its not really that much of a hassle. The fun elephant shape makes up for it. Cheap and fun. Recommended!
Pros: They are cute. They are functional. They have real googly eyes. Cons: The hole to fill up is smaller than the hose, so water gets everywhere when filling them up. They don't hold as much water because of where the fill hole is and it leaks as you walk around. The holes are bigger than expected so a lot of water comes out which isn't great for seeds. I preferred another elephant watering can to this (wide hole, sturdier, slightly bigger).
The filling holes are super tiny and on the dinosaurs butt instead of back which makes it super difficult to fill. I will not buy a Cornucopia brand watering can again. The other brands sell a similar looking elephant which has a much better hole and works well.
I brought it for my daughter, she likes the elephant. The dinosaur is for my son but he's only 11 months. Right now its too cold to water anything outside. So they using it as weapons to wack one another with.
The eyes fell off, I simply super glued it back. But we spend hours looking for eyes.
But we didn't test it out yet, still waiting for the weather to start to warming up.
My husband got these for me as I dislike boring watering cans. I absolutely love them!!! They're so cute!!! They don't hold too much, which is great because that makes them easy to pick up and use. I have psoriatic arthritis and the lasrger cans can be too much for my hamds sometimes. These are just adorable!!!
Perfect size for the job and the kids love them so it encourages them to help with house work. I'm not sure what happened to my original order, but I only received the dinosaur can. I contacted the company and they were unable to fulfill my order through their welarehouse, but had Amazon step in to do so. I received both cans within 3 business days of the original delivery. Could not be happier with the product or the customer service.
My two little guys love these watering cans. The cans are a perfect size for little humans. My boys help me water flowers. They fill up the cans with water for playing in the sand box. They use them to "wash" their toy trucks. So many uses! The little googly eyes have fallen off, but other than that they have held up very well.
