Throw a handful of these on top of some coals in a charcoal holder and you get a ton of smoke and added flavor, but one handful is plenty. I tried 2 handfuls before and it was way overpowering....all you could taste was wood. I couldn't imagine ONLY cooking something with these as in a pellet grill....seems like it would be WAY overkill. I don't use a pellet grill though so I can't 100% verify that claim.

This blend adds great flavor to whatever I am smoking. Just a couple handfuls of pellets burn several hours, they put out lots of smoke, and they burn cold, I don't believe my grill temp got above 70 the entire time they were burning.
I wish I could have found a smaller bag, this 20 lb bag is year supply for me.

We (my Wife and I ) are 4+ year owners of a Traeger Smoker.
After using the different pellets (All flavors Purchased from our Butcher Traeger dealer) we found we like Hickory best UNTIL Signature came out. Using the Signature blend has our family and neighbor guesses waiting for us to start our Traeger and get an Invite. Signature Blend give us a unique flavor that enhances the BBQ Sauce we use.
We have Family & Friends & neighbors doing 2nds, 3rds oh no all gone.
Now I don't get day 2.

There are no issues with the product itself. It functions exactly as it should. I disagree with the assertion that this is good for fish. I smoked fish three different times, changing only the brine time and ratios, but keeping the smoke the same. The smoke flavor is very intense and largely covers up the fish flavor.
I would buy other products from this company, but I would not use this variety for fish.

Good Morning:
I bought two bags of the pellets, both bags shipped in one box. When opening the box one bag looked as though it burst or maybe was torn open and most the pellets escaped the bag. Collecting what I could was challenging and may have lost 1/3 of the bag. Other bag was perfect. Just a note that handling or packing needs improvement. will buy again, just a word of caution.

Actually it is a very nice product, that is the truth. It really does make for better grilling temperature stability and may perhaps help increase the longevity of the grill by burning cleaner. The flavor blend is what I really like about these pellets. Tasty. After almost a year of using the other guys pellets, I am back to the Traeger ones. Replaced my temp sensor, now good to go for year two with my Traeger 700 series.

The Trager pellets have a good flavor and work nicely in a wood fired grill. They are certainly not the cheapest you can get nor do they producea lot of smoke. Dont get me wrong they are nice but there are others to explore

They need to make the bags thicker and resealable. The pellets are awesome, love the flavor, the bag needs to be upgraded. I transferred the pellets to a Camp Chef bag I had that is thicker material and reseals to keep humidity from effecting the pellets.

It does what it is suppose to do. BUT, it's pricey! $5 less would be a bargain. However, with the name Traeger on the bag, I guess they think that will make me feel good enuf to pay extra?? HA!
