these have to be the best paper towels in the market ever! super absorbent and soft! i have tried other brands for the value of the money, but nothing comes close to bounty. For the price of other brands paid and the amount of paper towel I needed for clean ups, other brands were just not worth it. I feel like I was using 3 times more of the other brand than using bounty. I definitely recommend bounty. Another suggestion is steer away from Bounty with color prints on them. I have purchased Bounty with colorful printings that the color used did temporarily stain white surfaces that it came in contact with while wet. It was a real pain to find out that it was staining white surfaces. I stopped purchased pretty colorful patterns and stuck to just all plain white no colors.
3rd time I've bought these by the case. Now downsized, 128 sheets per roll vs 143. Even though I re-ordered the exact same item from my order history, the UPC code is different. Old 143 sheets per case UPC ends in 781452, new smaller size rolls case end in 750250. It does say "Packaging May Vary" but nothing about the size. The old switcheroo!
I bought these because the store was out of them and I could not find any, anywhere. I did not realize how many were in the box until it was delivered. We now have enough paper-towels for the next six months. I have tried cheaper paper towels and because of the poor quality, I always end-up using twice as many. I think that I use fewer of the select-a-size Bounty towels, which brings the price down in the long run and besides, Bounty really is the quick, picker-upper!
We haven't bought Bounty paper towels for awhile; instead opting for BJs store brand that we were very happy with; they're thick, easy to tear, and even hold up to cleaning windows. With Covid and all we decided to order towels from Amazon Pantry and got a case of 16 rolls of Bounty. What could possibly be wrong with this picture, right? Well, a lot. First, the rolls were about 1/2 as big as what we'd been accustomed to; second, the sheets are paper thin and very rough; third, we're about 1/2 way through the box and not a single sheet tore cleanly at the perforation(s). It seems that P & G adjusted its manufacturing to maximize profit for short term gain during the pandemic. My advice: is: don't buy this product - you'll be very disappointed. TY. AJR
I bought this product four months ago. These are advertised as "2 rolls are equal to 5 regular rolls". Each roll had 143 sheets back then. The current product which I bought this week has only 128 sheets. This is 13 square feet less (124 vs 111 square feet). This is a reduction of 10.5% in square feet, but no change in price. Do the math. Very deceptive marketing on their part.
I’ve been using Bounty Select-A-Size for years. This Quick-Size version has the same great thickness and absorbency as the Select-A-Size, but it’s slightly shorter, perhaps by 1/4 inch. I probably wouldn’t even notice it 99% of the time, but I imagine the tiny difference could matter when cleaning up really big spills. Also, the size difference is clear on my paper towel holder. The Select-A-Size rolls fit perfectly; the Quick-Size rolls wobble a bit because they’re too short to reach the top. Bounty is still the best brand to use, but I hope the Select-A-Size version comes back soon.
I have bought several brands of paper towels from Amazon, and to put it lightly, you get what you pay for with the cheaper ones. Buy these, not those. They are well made, and are a much better quality that a lot of the ones available through Amazon.
As far as price is concerned, I believe these are a decent price. If you don't need a better quality, then you can spend less, but you will probably use more.
Pre COVID Bounty towels were thicker and more absorbent. These contemporary Bounty paper towels are much more thinner and almost fall apart during use. They get so soaked just for drying hands, that it is necessary to use a complete towel and a half to match pre COVID absorbency of a half towel.
Delivery was fine but the product was awful. Half of the rolls shed enormous amounts of dust and balls of white fluff. Had to dispose of the them. The issue is likely a matter of poor quality control at the manufacturer and/or the distributor.
