Definitely Eggy

Happy to finally find this product! The price is expensive, but it made sense given it's current popularity; however.... I disappointingly did not like the flavor and texture. The flavor borders on fishy. The aftertaste is definitely an egg flavor that you'll be burping for hours! The crunch of the chip is lacking, which is a bit confusing to the mind, but once you try it, you'll know what I mean. Overall, it just made me feel sick and remorseful for consuming a few bites. On the plus side, the product came with intact chips- no crumbs from squished packaging. The size is fairly good, compare it to the size of a typical chip bag at a liquor store. I hope you like it more than I did!

This product is overpriced. And when you think of the ingredients that come with it, you should think twice. I love salted egg potato chips, and I found another brand, Good Roots, the flavor is about the same, but less crispy, (which I prefer) but most importantly, it does not use MSG. Read the labels and compare what's good for you!

Taste Great - Didn't Ship Well

Tasted great. Unfortunately, both bags had less than 10 chips that survived shipping. The rest were crushed in shipping. We did use those to coat chicken as a breading which was crazy good, but we were sad that we didn't get full chips. Until they are distributed from US directly, we won't order again.

Taste amazing, downside is pricing

My friend brought one for me from Taiwan, she bought it with a very REASONABLE price. Apparently, this is the only option we have in the US, the 2 bags of chips I ordered were delivered to me in CA in less than 10 days, I would rather buy some just to give them away to important friends, make them fall in love with it and realizing how much they really are eating lol.

The flavor was strange to me at first but I learned to crave it! The eggy flavor powder is a little soft, but the chips (which are not huge pieces of potato, but often shards- intentionally) have just the right crispy crunch to them. These also pack a bit of heat, and the flavor is complex. It's hard not to finish a bag.

The only downside is the relatively high price, making them a luxury snack at best.

Came in the mail today but it was stale :( I don’t see any holes in it but it tasted stale. The salted egg comes thru but wished it wasn’t stale. There was no crunch left to it. Disappointed. Kinda of want to order another one but spending a whopping $11 for a bag of possibly stale chips, no thanks.

I was really excited to be able to get this off of Amazon for a reasonable amount rather than shipping overseas to try it. And I'm glad I just bought the one bag because it's just a bit too sweet for me. I like my potato chips savory and this just has too much sugar, which wipes out the salted egg yolk flavor too much. Also wish they were a bit crunchier.
