These worked great. Can't tell the difference between these and OEM. Get an unrecognized error the odd time after changing a cartridge. Turn printer off and then back on and it's fine. I have a pic printed on OEM ink and this ink. I can't tell the difference and neither can anybody I've asked. No reservations about buying these again.
LATEST ADDITION: Been using Nexpage ink for 2 years and no problems. VERY high quality stunning prints. My Epson Pixma 100 eats a lot of ink but delivers. Nexpage ink is a fraction of the price of Canon ink and works flawlessly. I think you will be happy with gallery quality prints with this ink! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NEW ADDITION: The Nexpage ink is great ink at a great price. After many cartridges, very happy with the quality of the prints using this ink. ORIGINAL POST: I admit I just bought the Canon Pixma 100 printer so the verdict is still out but I have owned and serviced printers all my life. I printed maybe 100 letter size photos before my Canon OEM ink started to run out. I have replaced them with these ink cartridges and have seen NO DIFFERENCE in printouts (Gallery Quality) and 6 of 8 cartridges are now NEXTPAGE (Careful, I had one leak but no big deal).
I bought a set of Canon replacements too, which I will swap in after these NEXTPAGE cartridges run out and then do some more, closer side by side comparisons. But I have to tell you, if I have to do side by side comparisons to detect any difference, then these ink cartridges are my choice - 1/4 the price of the Canon OEM inks. BTW, they are plug and print, no problems or warnings from the Pixma 100. They click in firmly and seem to play nice with the printer. Finally, I cannot vouch for all generic inks but this products seems great. Still, who knows, my printer could go out to lunch tomorrow because of junky pigment or dry cartridges or sinister cosmic rays. Like I said, the verdict is still out. Thanks for reading and I hope this was helpful to you.
These cartridges work as described. I purchased these for a just purchased used printer that I thought would need massive amount of print-head cleaning, which it did not :). Tried these cartridges for printing of photos and was very impressed as to the color and saturation produced. Given that this set was 1/5th of the cost of the same Canon set of cartridges, I'll be using these for the foreseeable future. the only question I have at this time is how long will the prints last as to color. Have left a couple of prints out in the sun to see how that effects the coloration, so far after 1 1/2 of solid daylight sun the prints are holding up .
Given the very high cost of the manufacturer's print cartridges, these are a no-brainier decision.
As a side note, make sure your monitor is calibrated (brightness and color) to get the best results from any printer.
