We’ve ordered these a few times before which is why I didn’t give itor a solid 1 star. However, the latest box we received was heavily taped which I thought was suspicious and then upon opening the box a previous purchasers return slip was sitting on top and the plastic wrapping around the diapers was torn open. Clearly diapers had been removed and then stuffed back in the plastic prior to this person returning them. This is upsetting on a 2 levels for me: 1) As a parent of a 1 month old, I am reliant on products showing up and being what they should be, especially diapers. 2) Again, being a parent of a 1 month old, I expect the diapers I receive to be sanitary and unopened by anyone except myself or my husband.
I was so excited to try Pampers new diapers, I've used pampers with all my kids and love there products but I can't say that for the pampers pure. For the amount of diapers you get for the price you would think there was something special about them. I'm sure I'm not the only one that had this problem, when you go to change the diaper it literally is stuck to the babies bottom. The first time it happened it tore a small layer of skin off so after that I would just get the part that was stuck wet and it would come off.
I love how SOFT the diapers are. It’s like Pampers Swaddlers but without the scent...until it gets wet. Once the diapers get wet, there is a smell that arises immediately. It smells like rubbing alcohol, which is not the worst smell and as long as baby isn’t harmed or irritated, it’s ok. I wish the diapers didn’t leak. My baby isn’t breastfed anymore, so the poop isn’t watery, only soft, and that doesn’t leak. Pee does leak though, and even when the diaper isn’t very soaked. Even trying to be careful when holding the tabs and placement of the stickies on the side, 8 out of 10 times they rip. For the price, I expected them to be better. I am torn because the softness is outstanding. I may just use the diapers during the day but change often. They definitely do not work for baby during the night. Leaks always happens.
My newborn was 6 pounds and it wasn’t enough to contain his leaks. It’s too big and bulky and definitely does not fit up to 10 pound kids because when he was 8 pounds i couldn’t strap it around him anymore.
We bought these when we ran out of our usual Honest company diapers. I was excited to try a non-fragranced pure version of pampers, but was disappointed in the product. They’re soft diapers and I like the wetness indicator strip, but the tabs aren’t stretchy (we had a few break off before we even got them on), and we’ve had multiple giant blow outs with these already, which is a problem we never have with Honest. I will definitely NOT be buying these again.
I really wanted to like these since they have a pee indicator and are safer diapers, but I found more often than not that our son had jelly crystals from the diaper stuck on him. We never had that problem with seventh generation so we switched back after finishing the box.
I used the Pamper's Pure Size 1 diapers and did not have any problem with leaks. I cannot not tell you why, but the Size 2 diapers leaked every night that I tried them. I now use Seventh Generation diapers and have not had any problems with overnight leaks.
