To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we do not use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I bought another clicker after getting this one because I felt that it was simply too loud. I live in a condo with people living above, below, next, and across from me and not so soundproof walls. I don't want to be bothering them while they are resting or need quiet, so I had to go buy another one I found through other people's reviews to be a little quieter. Since the clickers were originally pretty cheap and it's not so bad to keep in the case I decide to do any impromptu training outdoors, this clicker could be useful in the future. The button is also a little difficult to push but it does come with a stretchable strap that will allow you to hand the clicker on your wrist.
Very easy to use but beware ... you get what you pay for . These break so easily. Literally fall apart in your hand while using them . Luckily it is a 2 pack and I was able to hold the second one together to finish training school for my dog .
These would be great training tools.... if they weren’t so loud! My poor pup is terrified of the extremely loud sound, and I can’t lie, it even startled me too! I tried muting it by clicking under my clothing and behind my back, but to no avail. It’s just too loud. I bet they would work well for bigger dogs, hard of hearing.
I'm not sure if it's just me and my dog, but this clicker is a bit loud. Every time I click my ears get a little shock and my dog flinches so I've ended up not using this device at all. Maybe they just need to be broken in a little but as far as I can tell the clicking is a little too ear piercing.
Feels a bit sticky. Material is obviously cheap, feels a little too loud for our rabbit. Clicking once or twice is easy but trying to hit it 3 times rapidly is difficult and sounds awkward so it is not super useful past 2 click training
I really don’t know how I got so deep into Amazon that I really purchased these. I don’t really see the point. It grabs my dogs attention but honestly so does a whistle or me calling him. Maybe I’m Using it wrong? There’s only one way to my knowledge. I just don’t really see the point is I guess what I’m getting at
These are simple animal training clickers. So far, they have held up well. Depending upon how long they last, I'd buy again. They're also easy to lose, as they're not that large. But I think I may be using them on the culprit that's hiding them. Who knows?
My dog is pretty smart (when he wants to be) so I started using the clicker for positive reinforcement for some naughty behaviour..and he keeps looking at me like..."i got it, i understand.. stop clicking that thing at me....lol
