These filters do nothing. I replace my filters every two weeks. A good filter is clearly working as demonstrated by a dark area full of impurities filtered out of the air. But these filters come out clean and new looking. They obviously do not filter anything. I might as well have no filters at all. I recommend that you do not purchase these.
If the bag they came in had been sealed, this would be 5 stars with no complaints, easily.
Pros: they fit my AirSense 10 perfectly. Included is a photo of one of the new filters next to the original filter. (R is original, L is new). And for the cost, these will last a long time. So there's no beating that.
Cons: the bag they came in was fully open when I pulled it out of the Amazon packaging. As in the seam wasn't even close to being secure. Half the filters either ended up in the bottom of the Amazon bag, or on the floor. Way to use the cheapest plastic possible, Aqulius.
These things are wonderful! They fit my cpap machine perfectly. I bought these because my supplier charges 5 bucks for a single filter! Buying this pack has given me enough filters to last an entire year, rather than spending 5-10 bucks for 2-4 weeks worth. Unless you have Medicaid or Medicare and it pays for these supplies in full, I would recommend buying these so you don’t waste your money paying up to 1000% market value prices for cpap supplies.
These are not the same as the original one that came in my device. The original ones look like a HEPA filter and these are clearly not, but they do fit nice and look like they are working. They are not what I thought I was buying though.
Not near the quality of the filter that came with the machine. Should have checked them when they arrived rather than waiting until time to change filter. Guess they will be going in the trash, and I’ll be looking for OEM.
I use a Resmed S9 series Cpap. Upon opening these filters up, I noticed immediately they were different from my previous filters that were given to me at my doctor's office. These filters seem to be not as thick. Also, I struggled to get the filter to fit all the way into the filter slot of my Cpap machine. The filter itself just feels like a piece of soft foamy material. When using it, I have noticed parts of my face start to itch so I'm not sure if that is from particles getting through the filter or the hose I'm using. With my old filters and old hose connecting my face mask, I didn't seem to have that problem as much with my face all the sudden itching, as if a particle of some kind hit my face. I don't think these filters are that great. If I had to buy again, I'd probably search for another brand that is similar to the quality of the filters given at my doctor's office.
Your filters are correct and work great. The local CPAP provider just can't seem to get supplies straight. Wrong filter...wrong order...maybe just medical bureaucracy. Decided to order on my own . I know that insurance won't pay for it. But what good are filters I can't use.?
They do what they're meant for... They are all packaged together, so I would recommend a ziplock bag to put them in once it's opened. I'm ok with this, that's why they were cheaper than the individually packaged filters.
My husband went to the medical supply store to get his c pap supplies and was told he had to see his primary Dr in order to receive any supplies. He has never had to do this in the years that he has had his c pap. This is a new requirement for c pap users. I decided to order from Amazon and I am very happy to get these filters and that it is for a year's supply. He is happy and they fit his machine. Whe doesn't have to spend hundreds of dollars to see a Dr just to get supplies that are necessary for his c pap machine.
