Tenia mis dudas si comprar esta versión o la anterior ya que lei varios comentarios que mencionan que no es estereo y que no suena con tanta calidad, yo estaba necio que queria una Bose Revolve Plus, y estaba juntando para ello, pero me mostraron una Onix 2 y me agrado bastante el sonido, asi que por la mitad del precio me arriesgue por la onix 5 no estereo, y cual fue mi sorpresa al llegar el paquete pedi prestada una Bose como la que mencione para compararlas, y wow, no me arrepiento el sonido es mas claro en la onix 5 que en la otra, los unicos 2 puntos que si tiene mejor la otra es que es mas pequeña y que a nivel de ruido suena un poquito mas duro la bose, pero solo muy poquito, aunque si pones las 2 al volumen maximo se escucha mas claro la Onix 5. definitivamente no me arrepiento y estoy super contento con la calidad del audio de la Onix, sobre todo de los bajos que se escuchan super padres y de calidad.

Tengo opiniones encontradas. Por una parte, la bocina tiene buen audio en general. Si te gustan los bajos es muy buena opción, pero si tu música tiene más complejidad (muchos elementos de audio) al ser de un solo canal en ocasiones el audio se escucha "congestionado". Por otro lado, la compatibilidad del Bluetooth no es la mejor. Si conecto mi S9+ se escucha un "crackling" todo el tiempo. Si conecto mi MacBook Pro (2019) simplemente no hay audio (ni cambiando a aptX o aac). Pero si conecto mi iPad primera generación (de hace años!), todo se escucha perfecto. Sin crackling y audio claro. Por lo tanto, si la usarás siempre con Bluetooth asegúrate de que tu dispositivo sea compatible y que no genere crackling.

No separa los sonidos como lo hace la HK4, dado que solo trae 2 bocinas y las HK4 trae 4, el sonido es ensordecedor como chillido dado a que le subieron la potencia a los Twitter no siendo armónico, hay que tener oído para tener idea de lo que se habla, Harman Kardon por ahorrar dinero le quitó filedildad a la falta de más bocinas, jamás una bocina va separar los sonidos como lo hacen 4 bocinas, ojo Harman Kardon con lo que amamos la fidelidad

I couldn't be happier with the sound, it's absolutely fantastic for a speaker of this price range and I'm not even exaggerating.

It has a lower frequency range of 50hz but I think it goes well below that at around 40hz. The bass is just so deep and surreal in some songs that it amazes me. However it is truly a bass heavy speaker so people who prefer flat lines and a balanced sound won't probably like it. But still even though being bass heavy, it's a pleasure to listen to it because the bass doesn't gives you a headache.

The mids are just fantastic no doubt. The highs are great and crisp till at around 80% volume, not to say it's bad at 100% but could've been bit better. Not a problem because seldom do I listen at full volume.

Can't tell about battery life as it's always plugged in for me because the sound is better when it's plugged in than when it's on battery, just like Onyx Studio 4. However I've read that it isn't great at around 3-4 hours at higher volumes and 2 hours at full. Aslo the fact that it's not dirt or water proof makes it purely a home speaker.

Looks wise it's stylish and premium in my opinion. People say it looks like a ladies purse which is true to an extent but how does that matter I don't understand. The primary purpose is to listen to the music which is some experience on this speaker, at this price. All my friends loved the look and feel of it so that adds on it. It's bit bulky and on the heavier side, which also affects the printability but again the pros of the sound quality surpasses everything. The grey colour looks best in my opinion.

In addition, you can connect an additional studio 5 but it won't act as a stereo setup which is a bummer to be honest.

I'd have given a 5/5 but due to the small battery and lack of some additional features like waterproofing, no stereo setup, etc makes me minus 1 star. 5/5 for the delivery service though, got it in a day and was packed well.

Overall, my search for a good BT speaker (value for money) is now over. However, if someone's willing to shell out some more money then they might consider HK go+ play 2 at around 19k, it's great.

I bought this for my dad and he loved it. Easy to travel with compared to other speakers of this power. I am blown away by the sound - (And I'm a music producer so imagine)

Reasons to like:
Great handy design
Battery Backup is fairly good
Sound and bass is phenomenal - Lows are just insane for the size.
Price is fairly great when compared to luxury audio speakers.

Tried it outdoors on a terrace and it took up the challenge.

What's not to like:
Limited features and buttons on the speakers.
Could look a little odd in shape for some. (I personally like it)
Charging to full takes a while
Not your average durable water proof JBL sort of speaker - treat with care

In one line, I would say - GO FOR IT! You won't regret it.

Me encanta! para mi cuarto de 5x5 m es espectacular. Bajos profundos y calidad en el sonido, muchos se quejan de que la versión de Onyx 5 es mono y no estéreo pero al diablo! no se nota para nada. Anteriormente compre el parlante Sony XB41 su sonido fue tan malo que lo regrese y compre el Onyx 5, sin duda la mejor decisión.

Pros: Por $ 3,000 que fue lo que me costo, me atrevo a decir que es el mejor parlante, en cuando a potencia y calidad de sonido del mercado, arrasa a el Sony xb41, megaboom 3, charge 4, Bose Revolve (el normal, no el plus)

Contras: no es a prueba de agua y la batería no dura tanto como su competencia (unas 5 horas a volumen medio - bajo), ademas que no es tan portable como los demás.

Si solo lo quieres para tenerlo en la sala o tu cuarto te va super bien, si quieres llevarlo a acampar, al parque o a hacer ejercicio, mejor voltea a otras opciones

I really like this speaker, I used to have a mini HK speaker that sounded great, and now I wanted an upgrade. It definitely was an upgrade, it sounds very good I'm somehow picky with the sound quality, still not an expert, but I didn't want something with saturated bass, as the other bluetooth speakers in the market.
Something to notice is that I think during the first 2 days it sounded like the equalization was configured more to the bass side, and I didn't like that, I gave it more time to test it, and I'm not sure but it improve. Maybe ut needed to settle down, IDK.
Something important to notice is that it sounds better if you are at least 1m away from it.
I noticed that if you unplug it from the power cord, the bass sounds a little less powerful, for me that is not an issue, since I always use it in the same place.
