Worked great for first few months. But now the flexible metal has lost its strength and tension and it’s difficult to secure for adequate placement. There are also some holes in the fabric beginning to expose light through. I always fold it when not in use and always have used my sun visors for more secure placement but I’d rather spend more money on more durable, quality products that I do not have to ‘plan on becoming obsolete’ under a year’s timeframe. I realize this is not an expensive item but I purchased too quickly out of necessity and based upon number of highly rated reviews, which I imagine either are fake or do not take time to review after certain period of product use to update the longevity and durability of products. I do not recommend this sunshade and am still spending time researching a more reliable, durable, and quality alternative.
Impossible to fold correctly, despite the videos on-line to show you how. (The fact that there must be a video to show you how to fold it is an indication of how impossible it really is!) Because you can't fold it correctly, it takes up a ton of room when "stored". The material is thin so it doesn't insulate at all. It blocks the sun but does nothing to block heat. It also looks like junk when placed on my dash. Save your sanity and buy some other product.
I ordered this for my 2003 Honda Accord based on the numerous positive reviews and the description of the product. I ordered the size based on the size chart for my car. Previously, I only used the accordion style shields. I was led to believe this would be more user friendly and would provide better coverage without the need of using my visors to secure it. I soon found that this wasn't the case for me. If I didn't use the visors this wouldn't even stand in the windshield, and even using the visors, this shield seemed to just wanna fall. Installation isn't "quick" and there's nothing that feels high quality or premium about the materials. It's definitely overpriced. I would return it but it's not worth the headache. It may be fine for some, but I was pretty disappointed.
Extremely unhappy! Replaced an accordion foldable schade with this one. Even with cracked windows the interior temperature was so hot and the dash was almost untouchable which never happened with my other shade with the same outside temperature.
Just a hassle- if you can get it to stay in the windshield, it DOES keep out the heat and sun. However, I verified my car with their chart and its definitely NOT a good fit. I have not been able to refold it, no matter how hard I try. Totally unsatisfied with this product.
I ordered the small which according to the seller's chart was the correct size for my C 43 Mercedes Benz. It's very large. Actually too big for my car. The real issue is refolding it. I watched the videos on YouTube. You'll notice all the people refolding it are standing in an open space. It's virtually impossible to refold sitting in the front seat of a small vehicle. I returned it and am annoyed that it cost me 37.5% of the purchase price to return. I'm a Prime member.
This would be a great product if it would stay on windshield. The suction cups are not strong enough to hold sun shield. I love the fact that it is suppose to stay on windshield & all you have to do is pull it to the other side. I always forget to put my sun visor up so I thought having it always on windshield would remind me to use its. But every time I try to put it on it falls off within a few minutes. Ive cleaned it with rubbing alcohol to remove all the oil and dirt from suction cups and windshield but nothing works. Its a great idea & would be a great product if it would just stay on an not fall off.
