When this first arrived I was disappointed by the size. It is much smaller than I expected. But then I started loading pens into it and I was impressed with how much it can hold. I love having my pens sorted and ready so I don't have to search through drawers or boxes. I'm ordering another one!
This is a pretty nifty little organizer! It takes up a little more room than a regular round pencil / utensil holder, but as you can see, I have my many different pens/pencils/markers sorted by type, which makes it way easier to find what I need! Love this little thing and I'm thinking about getting another set for my colored pencils & pastels! **Tip- If you want the 3 units to stay together as one unit, I used mini binder clips (2 on the front & 2 on the back) where the units touch when they're slid together... I have 3 cats who think they belong on my desk and they tend to move & spread stuff around on my desk! LOL Definitely worth the price for these handy little gems :)
These are pretty thick and sturdy plastic. They arrive covered it clear plastic, I’m guessing for protection. I thought it was going to be a bit bigger than it was (see the picture attached of them next to a 20 oz bottle for size comparison.) You can fit 6 sharpies comfortably, but you can pack in eight with a very tight fit and no wiggle room. The very bottom compartment doesn’t go as deep as the others, so the sharpies on the bottom stick out a significant amount more (see attached picture.) I’m still pleased with them, though and will be buying more, since they don’t hold all the markers we own.
These units are smaller than they appear in the picture and are rather lightweight. The cups can hold pencils and pens, but fall over when you add a ruler or scissors. I bought the translucent version and tbh it looks cheap. however, I will keep them and use them, but I would not buy these again.
I can't really say anything too bad about this product. It is exactly as described, but the way it is pictured feels like it intentionally looks larger than it is. Just be aware of the dimensions. I bought this for my daughter who loves art and has a lot of pencils. charcoal, paints, brushes, pastels, colored pencils. art markers, etc. I thought 1 would be a good test and I could always buy 1-2 more later to give her enough organizational room for all of her stuff. It works well, but I would need to buy a minimum of 10 sets (50 pieces) to accomplish this. That sounds like a lot, but these are small enough that 10 full sets would easily fit on her art desk. BTW, she is 12, not a professional artist with a studio full of art supplies, just what you would expect a 12 year old that likes art to have at home.
I didn’t think I would like this but I actually do. It holds about half of my pen collection (yes I have a large collection of pens) but this organizer gave my desk the look of being organized and saved a lot of space from the many cups I had that lined my desk!
I have a LOT of Muji pens and the Zebra Mildliners, so this set was perfect in fitting them! Depending on how full you want your containers to look, you can actually put quite a few inside each compartment. I also like how there's two individual cups so you can put overflow or extra pens inside there also. In the bottom compartments, I like to stick my whiteout, a small stapler, and an eraser in there since pens can't really fit. Looks really cute for a minimalistic desk as well.
Although, I would say that these containers are very light, so I would be careful about them tipping or spilling over if you were to accidentally hit them. I put mine up against a wall so it reduces that risk, but overall it is a good product and I would highly recommend if you have a lot of pens!
The product itself is cute, useful, and sturdy. I must not have understood the description because all the pieces are separate. I thought this was one unit, but it's actually 5 different units that can be placed together or in different places. They do not connect together at all, again, 5 different storage units. Either way, this was a gift and the recipient was not disappointed. She has lots of different pens and markers and this holds several different sets.
I ordered this for desktop organization for my kids. I wanted something that took up little space and I liked the vertical angled storage to be used for paintbrushes, scissors, glue sticks, pencils, and markers. I also liked that there were several pieces as I needed desk top storage for two kids. But, these products are a bit too lightweight, thin, and this makes them easily moved, knocked around, tipped over, and flimsy. The angled vertical slots are also a bit deep to store many items like crayons and glue sticks. The good thing about this product is you get several pieces and its space saving by design, but I would not recommend it for kids or if you cannot prop it up against a ledge or the wall.
