Others seem to like this stuff, so perhaps I'm doing something wrong - if so, I'd love to know what. Before using it, I attempt to dissolve it using extremely hot water. I've tried stirring the detergent up, or putting the hot water and detergent into a shaker bottle and shaking them up. Either way, when I get the clothes out of the washer there's a lot of white grit on them, almost like sand - assuming this is undissolved detergent. It's very odd. I am wondering whether it has to do with water treatment chemicals or water softness in my area, since others don't seem to have an issue. I don't mind the smell of this fabric wash (although truth be told it is rather strong), and I think it cleans well, but the grit is too much to deal with. I've stopped using this stuff as a result.
