- No abarca mucho espacio.
Okay, so this is the closest high chair to the adorable SkipHop one that was recalled. Since that one came off the market, I couldn't find anything similar within the price range - until this! I really like it overall. Easy assembly, super sturdy, and a fashion pop to your kitchen. I love the double tray.. which is a rare come around, and good for my case of a kosher kitchen so I can separate meat and milk. The reason it gets a 4 is the tray! Looks like the designer got tired at that point... compared to the material and detail of the rest of the chair, the trays are a way too high gloss, less quality plastic and oversized relative to the look of the rest of the chair (although generous and convenient for kids while eating). Also, my gray tray has some plastic defect marks on it. (pictured)
Lastly, the buckle on the strap needs precise aim to click together, so you can't just snap it together, you actually need to take a second and align the buckle .. just an extra second of annoyance.
All in all, the rest is beautiful as seen in pictures, and really a nice chair. happy purchase, and forgiving of the not so cute designed tray.
The first shipment of this chair came in poor shape. A few of the wooden pieces had (factory?) defects. One had large white splotches (possibly water damage or incomplete varnish coverage), one piece was unstained/finished and thus did not match the others, and the veneer was chipped and peeling on another. I arranged for a replacement fairly easily and it arrived quickly. The second chair had none of the previously mentioned flaws, BUT the assembly instructions were not clear. I believe there was some error in the labeling of the wooden pieces, which based on reviews, must vary. With some problem solving it eventually did all go together nicely--but not everyone will appreciate the challenge of an unexpected puzzle in putting together this high chair. Overall, the finished product is lovely, and I'm satisfied with my purchase.
We have a this for a few months now, it was a replacement from the popular IKEA high chair that we had to get rid of.
So let's do this: Pros: Removable tray top and slides off Leather seating Removable straps so you can clean and one day make into a chair Cute modern design Cons The under side of the leather pad is hard to clean Its clunky.. hard to move around but not impossible Tray can be hard to click back on Overall I like this highchair, I sent a little more on this one compared to the others and I can tell the difference.
Is easy to clean, not heavy the legs make it take a lot of space, was kinda tricky to put it together. What I don't like is the tray is not easy to put it or take off. Sometimes it looks like is in place and it does comes off. You need to use both hands to get they tray in and out. My baby like it specially when it has the little legs on
Was happy to find a slightly modern looking highchair that wasn't too expensive. Like that this can convert into different chairs over time, however, in my opinion that does make the legs of the highchair a bit less steady. The whole chair is stable, but sometimes one or more of the legs at the connection aren't lined up properly (just moving it by hand "fixes it"). Very easy to wipe down, and my 6 month old seems to love it. We don't often strap her in, as the straps and covers seem a bit cumbersome for her size. Love that the tray has a leg divider though, so I feel that she's safe in the seat and can't slip out the front or sides.
Highchair was easy to assemble. The modern design looks great as the quality of the highchair is, too. Very easy to clean. I’ve had for about 1 week and still looks like new after every mess made by my baby. He has had pasta with marinara sauce, which was able to wiped up easily and cleaned. I’m still getting use to the tray. It doesn’t slide into the chair as easily and it has a middle piece that doesn’t allow it to lay flat when placed down. I put it on a captains chair in order for it to lay flat when I remove the tray from the highchair.
Very easy to assemble even though the chair did not come with any assembly instructions. There are a few manufacturing details that are concerning when I considerate the possibility of my baby growing with the chair as it is advertised. The steps are in my opinion are redundant and not sturdy/not safe. By the time my daughter is big enough to actually use them I might as well just break it down to the short chair option (which I don’t plan to use this option, but nonetheless it is an extra feature).
What I love about this chair first and foremost is that it is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Love the modern look. It is also very easy to clean and change the table settings. Overall I do like this product, I just don’t necessarily think it is as sturdy and nice as other chairs on the market. But for the price I’ll take it!
I did have a problem assembling the front two legs because I put them on wrong, look carefully when putting them together make sure the holes where the stairs go are out not in or else you will have to take it apart to get it right. There is also a L looking tool that comes with it, I also had a hard time connecting the small bolts to the leg it would alone right it took me several attempts to get it in the hole. Other than that everything else is easy to assemble.
It’s very modern looking. Fits with many decor options. The seat is very easy to wipe. The pads on the straps, while easy to wipe, are a little too stiff and look a little uncomfortable for our son. The tray is a little hard to get on and off but not a deal breaker. I love that it’s simple, easy to clean and works well for what we need!
