I thought I was getting a superior product by ordering the 3 ply vs the 2 ply I ordered the last time. The 3 ply is less soft and the third ply actually peels and flakes during use. While not pleasant to discuss, I buy a superior product to met specific needs and this product does not do that due to the flaking and peeling. I'll have others use it or give it away and go back tot the two ply. For those who require a special product don't buy the 3 ply.
I used to buy this brand at a local store but they stopped carrying it. This is nowhere near as good as it was. Not soft at all & you can't really tell it's 3-ply. Strong enough I guess but I'm not trying to tow a boat with it. If it was softer I'd buy it again but it's not at all. I won't repurchase.
While this isn't "bad" toilet paper, I certainly wouldn't label it as "ultra soft". It is very strong toilet paper but it is harder than most. It feels like a small step up from bulk toilet paper that you find in most public bathrooms.
Tried these because a leading consumer magazine gave them the best in category review. I have been a Charmin two-ply user for decades. These are not as soft, thinner than I like, and I found myself going through the rolls far quicker than Charmin (which remains my favorite).
I have been buying White Cloud for years. This is advertised as 3 ply & the wrapper says 3 ply, but it is only 2ply. Is this a problem with the manufacturer ? That is false advertising to list it & the wrapping as 3 ply when it’s not.
