These are so soft! It is a lovely fabric but not at all thick. When my babies were little I would have loved these as wipes because they are so soft and can easily be wrung out with one hand. I used little flannel squares then and kept one hand on the baby while rinsing out the wipe with my other hand. Perfect for this use. Good for sensitive skin, too, as a face cloth. I use face cloths only once before washing, so these are perfect. I do wish they were a little thicker. Nice for crafting, too, if you like that kind of thing.
I'm trying to do this new thing where I take better care of my facebag, because I hit my mid-thirties, and I swear to goodness, I suddenly started looking my age after a lifetime of looking a solid 5-8 years younger than I am. So anyway, I've been using these as daily face towels, switching them out often like the internet beauty authorities tell me to. I use these for applying micellar or toner (yay, no more disposable cotton pads or gimmicky reusable makeup rounds!), and for drying after cleansing.
Things I wish I'd known when I was younger: be CAREFUL if/when removing the manufacturer tags, I snapped a few stitches and damaged the edges on multiple towels because I couldn't muster the courage to get up for 30 seconds to find scissors. Also, I damaged a few of them by throwing them in with the rest of my laundry & dryer - now I put them all in a small mesh laundry bag and ONLY line dry my precious pastel clouds. Definitely not good for scrubbing, as washcloths, or general cleaning rags (I use bar mops for that sort of thing).
I don't consider this to be an quality issue, they are super soft and slinky and springy. They're cheerful and good for delicate work!
My husband asked me to replace our wash cloths with bamboo ones bc our old ones were rough. Both he and our son really like them. They are very absorbent, I don’t think that’s important for bathing though. They are super soft and have held up through a few washings so far. I’ve only used them for a few weeks. Personally I think they are too soft and long piled I guess is the word. I feel like I’m bathing with a square of soft carpeting. I do like my washcloth with a more exfoliating feel though.
These are soft. Only multiple washings will tell if they stay that way. These are replacing original washcloths from matched sets. I find they are a little thin compared to what I am used to. I think I will get used to that. They are very good when washing my face. Being a little thin really shows when I load it up with body wash in the shower. It makes it a little harder to keep in place on my hand. In all these are nice replacements for my original washcloths.
Nov, 09, 2019 FOLLOW UP: A few washcloths have a thread loose, still very soft and still glad I bought them. I would buy these again. ORIGINAL POST: Love the softness of these. Absorbent. Perfect for my needs. Like the loop if you want to hang it up. Would love bolder colors, forest green, ruby red and royal blue, along with the pastels
I bought these to use for quick wipes around the house. They are SOOOOOOO soft I decided to keep them for my face in the bathroom instead. They are good size and not too thick (not wimpy thin either) so easy to use for a contoured space like my very happy face.
I bought these as adult face cloths. They are soft and have nice pastel colors but they are thin. They also have a loop at the end which I don't need.I haven't washed them yet so not sure of their durability because of the thinness. Will return with the final review.
