We bought a few to try out for a standing desk. The Learniture stool won hands down. This was a second but not a close second. The problem is the base - it really just wants to stay upright. To make this good for your back you kind of have to have the stool at a significant angle and sit against it. The way the base is constructed it would in theory go there but wanted to spring back to the 90 degree position so strongly that you had to put too much effort into just keeping the angle. A good chair or stool must be comfortable enough that it "disappears", you don't notice it. If you really want to use this with a standing desk this is not a great choice.
Sitting in my home office chair was causing me a lot of back pain. Because of work-from-home, I got this to help ensure I’m “up and moving,” and not stuck hunched in a non-industrial and non-ergonomic chair all day. It’s helped a lot. It’s easy to adjust, I enjoy the wobble (there’s not a lot, just enough to rock/stretch a bit). Would order again.
I like the fact that the base of this chair sits flat on the floor. When you tilt the chair, only the seat cushion and the support tilt, not the base. Because of the design, it can only tilt so far but I am ok with it. If you would like to tilt more than 10 degree angle, then this is not for you. Most of the wobble chairs have rounded base. I have toddlers at home. I have feel this is safer. At least for this one, if kids are trying to lean on it or push it, it won't tip over easily. The ring design for height adjustment was good. It made fine tuning the height adjustment easier. The only little complain I have is that the cushion material is a bit slippery when you tilt forward. It's annoying. I tried it for a day and I kept slipping off the chair. Unfortunately, I will have to return it. I
Easy assembly, works well for my stand up desk. I acquired a herniated disk in my lower back and could no longer use a regular office chair (until the back heals), I did a bit of research and decided to give this stand up wobble chair a shot as my feet would hurt after standing for an 8 hour day. It takes some getting used to, it's comfortable, not as comfortable as a regular office chair, but not bad. It does take the pressure off my feet. It lived up to my expectations. I would buy this again.
This is a very sturdy stool even though it has a wiggle function. It adjusts easily for higher or lower desks. Both my 9 year old and I can use it at our respective desks. It’s not quite tall enough for me to use as a standing stool, but still gives me plenty of options and forces better posture.
They height is great, I have a high work table and had a difficult time finding a stool that went high enough. It is quite durable and stable I question whether the casters will last very long however I think it is a great purchase for the price.
