Perfect Summer Moisturizer or After Sun Gel

COSRX hits home with another awesome product. If you're combination oily, or want a light moisturizer for summer this would work really well for you. It's light, slightly tacky (it will absorb though) but still very hydrating. My favourite way to use this is to stick it in the fridge and apply it to my skin as a cooling sleeping mask on top of my other skincare. Also it works great for sensitized skin after too much sun.

Finally received my order after a delivery mishap. Now.. :) ..I have been using this stuff for a few weeks. No reactions to it. No breakouts. It really soothes my skin. At first you thinks its tacky and will leave a aloe like film but, keep waiting. It does not. it absorbs and leaves smooth calm skin. I like to use when there is still some water left on my face from washing it. It kind locks in more moisture if done that way. It really is a *summer time moisturizer*. I will not use this in winter because Canadian winters require a thicker layer to keep from "cold damage" when going out. but maybe after a face mask or exfoliation during winter while staying inside it could be used as well. There is no smell to the product, with a nice light cooling gel effect.. I would (AM) going to repurchase again and again.

Edit: I'm on tub number 5 now. I only wish these were bigger! Nothing compares.

After breaking out badly with the Neutrogena gel moisturizer, I wasn't sure this was going to work for me, but it's excellent. I'm on my second tub. I have oily skin and this doesn't make me any shinier. It hydrates really well and best of all- zero breakouts. I love Cosrx products.

Loyal Cosrx enthusiast here. Let me try to keep this simple - I found this Hydrium Green Tea Aqua Soothing Gel Cream NOT to be moisturizing but drying. I used it twice a day for over a week with no other skincare or environment changes to the same confusing and disappointing results of dry, itchy, flakey skin. I even tried layering the cream to see if that would help, but even 5 layers were not adequately moisturizing. Even if you have oily skin (which I used to have until very recently - hello 30's), I would not recommend this. This is a pre-moisturizer lotion at best or needs to be combined with seriously good serums or ampoules beforehand. Try their other Hydrium moisturizer - Moisture Power Enriched Cream or the Balancium B5 D-Panthenol Cream instead.

This moisturizer begins as a light gel. I waited a long time for this to absorb into my skin, but it never did. Even after 15-29 mins, it remained sticky and tacky. The morning after applying it at night, my skin broke out like CRAZY. I had 4-5 new red and inflamed acne spots in areas of my face that NEVER break out. This didn't work for my oily acne prone skin. Disappointed because Cosrx is a great company I would love to support!

Lightweight but hydrating moisturizer

Love this gel moisturizer! I have oily skin but like to stay hydrated without a heavy feeling on my skin especially in the summer. I've tried a few gel moisturizers and had overall good experiences. Some are lighter weight and best used under sunscreen but not at night alone. Others can function as a standalone moisturizer. My fave before now was the missha water full gel cream but I can't find it anymore and it's a bit more expensive. The reason I liked it so much was that it truly HYDRATED my skin, like a cream moisturizer. Not just add a little moisture then feel dry after a few hours. This cosrx moisturizer is the closest I've found to it and it's much more affordable.

The consistency is a light gel. Goes on smooth and absorbs after rubbing in. Doesn't leave a filmy heavy feel. But it keeps skin hydrated all day (I use it under my sunscreen during the day) I even use it as a night time moisturizer in the summer and I think I'll be able to continue through the winter! Plus it doesn't break me out. No noticable smell. Can't recommend this enough!

Another perfect product by CosRX. This is the first gel moisturizer I’ve ever tried. I’ve been using it on the nights I use my retinol. It’s completely fragrance free, it only has 8 ingredients all of which are amazing, it’s light weight, & it’s very moisturizing. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily, even when I wake up in the morning. I would say it’s perfect for oily skin, I’m not sure about dry skin. This gel is perfect for daytime or nighttime use.
