Amazon calculates a product’s star ratings using a machine learned model instead of a raw data average. The machine learned model takes into account factors including: the age of a review, helpfulness votes by customers and whether the reviews are from verified purchases.
Like many others I’m desperately looking for masks for protection against coronavirus. Even though the Amazon price is very expensive, I ordered it. In total I managed to get masks from five different sources. All other four brands passed the water and fire tests. Only this one FAIL both the water and the fire test! See photos. It advertises itself as using meltblown middle layer and protects against viruses. The middle layer is certainly not meltblown as meltblown by definition is flame resistant and does not burn! And how can it protects against viruses when the entire mask allows water to leak through?! If someone coughs near you and the droplet lands on your masks, basically it will seep through the mask and have direct contact with your face and mouth!
