Sony WF-1000XM3 is very good in-terms of sound, battery time and noise cancelling. I was worried about the quality before buying it but had a really good experience. These headphones are also recommended for business calls because of it's exceptional mic quality. Highly recommended!

Overrated pair of earbuds

Vacuum seal in the earbuds leaves my ears ringing. SOUND isn't the best as soundstage is so small, even with equaliser unable to replicate a sound like shure or Westone.
Unable to charge properly and pairing is difficult - instructions were bad in manual.
I'll be returning this and going for TWM2 instead.
Save your $$$ and avoid!

Outstanding qaulity earbuds

Not cheap but the ANC and sound quality justify the price - especially with recent sales I've seen. I've been using these for 90 days now on a frequent basis and I would highly recommend them to everyone that's willing to spend a bit extra. I use an Android phone and also have a work iphone 8 which I tested just to compare the quality of audio and other features.

When i first started using these buds, I did have a few audio drop outs from listening to Spotify and my podcast player. However found a solution to remove battery saving options from those apps (on android) and this problem was resolved. Aside from that case, audio drop outs have been very rare and when they do happen, it's for a second or less.

I did not notice any difference with using it for my work iphone however first connection was slower but after that was fine.

Overall, the only thing I wish was improved is the call quality - it's very behind on comparisons to the airpods and people can tell when i'm using them. It also tends to pick up every noise around you instead of just your voice - hoping for the third software update which fixes this issue as the previous update hardly did a thing from my observations.

I ordered these via Amazon, they came next day and the price is great for what they offer (AUD250). I also have the headphones (over ears) version , and they are both fantastic with great sound and good noise cancellation. I just started to play, and note that you should change settings in the app :'sound priority' vs 'connection priority'. I have the apple airbuds . I looked at ibuds pro, but they are way more expensive (AUD390 or so), and I am not sure the sound compares to Sony. The only slightly negative surprise I had is the size of the Sony box compared to the ibuds- it is way bigger (at least double). However the Sony buds do not need the box to connect to the source, as they connect directly via blutooth), compared to the iPods which connect via the box (somebody should correct me if it is not true). All in all I am very happy, so far. And I expect they will sound better after few hours of use.
