This isn't for Singapore voltage(220v), it's for US(115v). If you plug it in here without an adapter, you'll fry it. This wasn't in product description. After sending multiple messages to return the product, merchant didn't answer.
Struggled with which steamer to buy and finally landed on this one. Liked the idea of the "Turbo Steam" feature for quicker results. I have used this a couple of times now and it works easily and quickly. Highly recommend that you turn on the steam and then wait a moment till steam is flowing smoothly before using on your clothing. It does "sputter/spit" a bit when the steam is first turned on and the steam starts flowing. On some fabrics that can leave water marks (found this out the hard way). It didn't damage the fabric, but I had to was before I could wear to refresh the fabric. With the Turbo Steam don't expect to do a lot of items before having to refill the reservoir. I only do one piece at a time. On a single shirt, I use up just under half of the reservoir. This doesn't bother me as I will only ever do one or two items at a time; however, if you do a lot of items in series I would recommend a stand steamer with a large reservoir. I am very happy with this steamer and its performance. Easy to use and easy to hold.
This product is great and works exactly as intended. And while it isn't feather-light, it also isn't heavy either like some reviews state. This is a handheld, convenient steamer. Not designed for mass-steaming. While the tank is smaller, it more than lasts for a full load of laundry that requires steaming. And it literally takes only two extra minutes to refill and heat up again. Very pleased with my purchase and ease of use of the product.
It is too heavy. My hand personally gets extremely tired. Also it runs out of water extremely quickly so if you have a few dresses or shirts you want to steam well that won’t happen without running and filling it up a few times and I mean CONSTANTLY. Just wastes time when you just want to do it quickly and be done. I wouldn’t have bought it honestly. Look for something lighter at least. If it was lighter I wouldn’t mind running around filling it up but lol it’s deff a work out for your wrist.
Extremely frustrating to use and time consuming. I purchased this steamer to do drapes for 4 windows. There were 2 drapery panels/window, each one about 54"W x 80"L, either polyester, microfibre or sheers. It took me 1 hour /window using the highest steam setting while holding the nozzle right on the fabric. I had to go over the same wrinkles many times. I had to refill the water container 6 times/window. Then I had to wipe the steam off the walls above the drapes. My hands were sore from holding the steamer that long and the drapes still looked wrinkled the next day. I returned the steamer and decided to use my trusty old iron and ironing board. I didn't try it on clothes. I don't expext the results would be any different. I did like the fact that it heats up in 1 minute.
