I love using this Aveeno Kefir Probiotic Shampoo . After years of buying expensive shampoos my hair was feeling and looking weighted down. Now that I have switched to this Aveeno Probiotic Shampoo, my hair is healthier and has more body.
I have weird hair, but this shampoo works really well for me! It cleans my (quite greasy) hair without drying out my scalp (another problem of mine). It has been drying out my ends a little, but if you alternate with another shampoo every now and again it should be fine. Love it!
I have been interested in trying one of the shampoos in Aveeno's new line of products--I thought about purchasing the apple cider one but then had the opportunity to sample this one instead. I was particularly interested in the "scalp restoring" aspect, as I have had an on and off scalp itch.
This sulfate-free shampoo is a thick, creamy formula. It has a sweet scent that is reminiscent of suntan lotion, which is consistent with the "coconut cream" in the description (I didn't really detect "apply blossom"). I didn't find the scent to last. The shampoo lathers well and appears to rinse relatively clean. It also seemed to leave my hair manageable. I haven't used it for very long, but I haven't had any particular problems with my scalp itch since I started using it, so that's a good sign. I'm not yet sure if I will repurchase, as I generally prefer a product a bit less creamy and with a less sweet fragrance. However, if it continues working well for my hair, I may reconsider.
I haven’t used this shampoo long enough to say whether it’s beneficial for your scalp. But so far, I like the shampoo. I like that the ingredients are mostly all natural. The fragrance (which is artificial) is quite strong-it’s a very sweet smell and it stays on your hair after drying. The smell is stronger than my conditioner, so once my hair dries, the shampoo smell is still pretty strong! I don’t love the smell personally, but it’s not bad. I find the shampoo to be clarifying without drying my hair out, which is great because I have VERY dry hair! Overall, it’s a nice shampoo!
I actually really like this shampoo. It's not overly strong in scent, just subtle enough that I get a nice fragrant smell. It's also creamy smooth and easy to rub into my hair. I've tried some shampoos that were either to runny or to chunky and I didn't like either of those. This I like. The cost is a little more than I usually care for but I did just cut my hair so this should last longer. It also doesn't make my scalp itch, a definite bonus. Aveno is a well known brand that has been around for years. Even with the cost I may try this again without complaint.
Probiotic shampoo with a pleasant scent. I've been using this for awhile but haven't really noticed a difference in my scalp or hair health, hair softness or moisture. It is easy to use, suds up nicely and leave a refreshing smell.
This is a nice shampoo and leaves your hair feeling very silky and smelling nice. But it's a bit gimmicky. The added kefir doesn't really do anything noticeable. It's good, but not sure it's worth any extra cost to comparable shampoos.
