such a shame, as at first these worked brilliantly. very comfortable, and the volume limiting feature is ideal for children. But after a few months of use the in built usb cable, which is evidently very flimsy, just stopped working, and they had to be returned. looking back over the reviews, seems like this is not an uncommon experience.

Bought two sets for my two sons and both sets of headphones stopped working after approx 6 weeks of very, very light use. Neither of them work now and no sound comes out of either headphone on both pairs.
I would not recommend these headphones or company for ANY REASON.

I purchased two of these for my daughters (10 and 8) to use for online learning this fall. In the spring it was chaos, with them wandering from room to room with iPads. We're trying for a more formal, sit-down school-desk setup this year, and having them side-by-side means we need over-ear headphones with mics. And these are NOT the headphones to get.

I don't know if it's the computers we're using (iMac and MacBook Air), but they connect erratically via both the USB and mini-jack connectors. It doesn't help for little kids that there are both connectors, even if they DID work... you have to manually switch a little toggle to choose if you're connected via USB or analog for the microphone to even work. Microphone levels were very low in Zoom as well, even though it can be positioned right in front of your mouth. And usually when connected via USB, a blue light on the controller would flash blue... but I can't find any documentation anywhere about what a flashing blue light would mean.

I gave up and returned them, and we're trying slightly more expensive (only $10) Beats wired headphones instead. If nothing else they seem simpler.

I've been looking everywhere for a safe headset for my kids to use while playing Xbox, something that won't hurt their hearing -- especially since they're playing more due to COVID-19 safer-at-home orders in our area. When I came across the PuroGamer, I thought I'd found a good quality product to fit these needs.

Nope.

So this headset has both a headphone plug (for use with music devices and xbox/game controllers) and USB (for use with PC/Mac). The lighting feature only works if you've plugged in to USB, since headphone jacks don't provide power like USB can. Well, there's no where on an Xbox controller to plug the USB in, so thats one feature that won't work while gaming unless you plug it into a powered USB device or into the Xbox itself which isn't realistic.

Second, audio over the headphone jacks is erratic. There's a constant clicking unless you select USB source on the headphone's source selector - which makes no sense since you're not using the USB plug. Doing that also makes the left headphone considerably quieter than the right -- even cutting out entirely at times.

For $70 I expected to get a solid quality headset, but this thing is junk.

Update: After 1 week of usage, they stopped working entirely.

Bought this for the PS4, and the sound is terrible. It’s not clear and is very cloud. The volume limiting is in reality frequency limiting. Tested on my computer as well and sound was still terrible. Returned!
