Poor quality. Does not last more than 3 months

Works fine initially. However after about 2 months, the projector would often restart itself even though it's plugged in. It will show low battery when it's restarting, even though I had left it plugged in to charge before using. Unplugging and plugging in fixes the restarting problem, until maybe a few uses later. The remote control also developed problems and often functions like a different button was pressed.

Will not play media from Apple Iphone 11

Advertised as able to play TV shows etc from iphone but when plug in the hdmi cable the iphone detects it and won't transmit the signal so get left with blank projection screen. It works and projects the phone display and everything you are doing right up until you play media...then it just shows black screen. DO NOT by this if you are expecting it to work with Apple devices. Absolutely fuming

Nice little bit of kit. But the WiFi/Bluetooth is a little disappointing. You can only do screen mirroring over the same WiFi network which I doubt very much will work in hotels, which was what we wanted it for. Bluetooth is audio only. It’ll be great with the Switch though.

So if you don’t have access to WiFi where you are going, get an HDMI cable.

So I’m returning it and getting the cheaper version without WiFi and Bluetooth. The Bluetooth is basically making it a speaker not a projector, and the WiFi access password length is limited to 20 characters which means I literally cannot connect it to my home network at all. Not worth the extra money.

EDIT This review is of the M1 Mini projector with Bluetooth. It sometimes appears on other projectors.

Amazing. For the prize I obviously wasn't expecting HD quality. The quality though is very watchable. The sound is crisp. I have the volume cranked up to the highest level and it just meets the mark. I may add a Bluetooth speaker one day. I am though extremely impressed with the overall quality of the device. I stick a hdmi Amazon stick in the side which opens up viewing to the various streaming apps. The device memory itself could hold a few movies for ultimate portability. You could also plonk in a pendrive. The stand is very useful and built in. Ideally a projector screen would be used but we currently project against a bedroom wall (dark green). Even with this the image is very good (note we watch in the evening when it's dark). No regrets with the purchase and now I have my very own portable cinema at a very affordable price! I would recommend the WiFi/Bluetooth version.

Expensive item which arrives without instructions or cables to connect to either PC or Mac.
Support did not know how to reslove the problem and suggested ordering cables required, but they were not the right ones. Could not get it to work, even with support so will be sending back. Looks a very simple tather over priced gadget so can't believe that it's not easy to 'plug in and play'

I've had used many projectors as I move place to place, such as XGIMI, artliii, etc.

This time I went with ViewSonic, it is a relatively easy build and it carries basic functionality for a portable projector. It is view-able in cloudy day time so the brightness is up to par.

Pro:
-auto keystone: most important feature when choosing a portable projector.

Con:
-720P: for the price I would expect 1080P
-No mount hole: I would suggest add a mount hole or at least a mounting bracket yo improve viewing angle support. The moving base can only support up to certain angles.

Faulty wifi, awful remote, short AC adaptor wire

Well was enjoying this projector then the wifi simply stopped working, tried factory resetting it, nothing.
Was very flakey from the start, but then went off altogether. The remote is absolutely horrible as well, its one of those credit card size remote with really hard to push buttons and writing you can't see in the dark, which is where you'll be using this projector most. The supplied AC adaptor has a ridiculously short wire on it as well making it near impossible to use while it's plugged in, and as you barely get 2 hours on good day out of the built in battery, this is bad.
The picture was good when you could finally focus the thing, the focus wheel is so stiff, you "overshoot" the focus point when turning it, then its back, forth, back, forth trying to focus it.
No, I can't recommend this I'm afraid, for the money, go for another brand.

You need a high watt power supply to run this from flat- this isn’t explained in the product literature and it doesn’t come with a charger. A standard iPhone charger will charge it but not run it, so use an iPad one. Sound is tinny, but I bought these for my daughters to use for fun in their rooms or outside with friends. They were happy.

I've had the Viewsonic projector for about a month now. Gradually the stand kept getting worse and worse to the point were it can't seem to hold up its own weight. Now, suddenly, the picture is completely wonky. I've been trying every single setting with the keystone to get it to work, nothing. All I have now is a broken product.

Would give 0 stars if I could, absolut garbage.

This projector keeps shutting off and rebooting whilst using it. It shuts off varying between immediately and 5-10mins after using and then cannot be used both on battery and whilst on charge.

It is brand new and this is happening on first use. I have ensured it has proper ventilation and therefore believe this is a product fault.
