Bought size Small in the hopes that it fits Camelbak Chute Mag Insulated stainless steel 600ml and it fits perfectly. Bit expensive for what is essentially a simple silicone sleeve but works well for its intended purpose. Diameter of Small is approx 7.2cm.
The black boot ain’t “black” (it’s more charcoal) and the pink doesn’t match HydroFlask’s own pink bottle. First World Probs, I know, but why? How? Who decided to make zero effort toward matching. Pink is going back and I guess illgive one of the knock-offs a shot. They look a heck of a lot closer. By the way, if you get a bright color, lint and dog hair that sticks to it (it will!) won’t be very visible. But on black? Oooh, baby. You can see errythang. Word to the wise.
I bought this for my 32oz Takeya Thermoflask and it fits perfectly. After dropping it and slightly denting the bottom, I decided I needed something to keep it standing securely. This is a great solution.
I bought this product to avoid banging up the base of my new hydro flask and to allow me to set it down on tables more quietly -- both were achieved with this product! The boot is sturdy, easy to clean, and fits very securely on my bottle. The only drawback for me is that the boot made it difficult to set my bottle in some cup holders and my backpack's water bottle storage sleeve: the product adds more width and increases friction with my backpack fabric such that it's impossible to slide in. I originally bought this size bottle since it fits in average cup holders, so I was disappointed that this boot hindered that aspect, but overall it does what it should.
Bottle Boots seemed like a frivolous accessory. Why did my water bottle need a boot? Well, after the bottom was beginning to scuff, I caved and purchased this. It has done a great job of being a protective barrier against scuffing and scratching when set on rough surfaces, but there have been a few other benefits of using a boot that I was not aware of.
Aside from protecting the bottle, I also appreciate the obvious benefit that it quiets the sound of setting the bottle down. This has been useful when with a sleeping baby. Another benefit is that the boot does not get cold like the bottle does when in a cool room, so when I set the bottle on bare skin it's not shocking. Lastly, it provides a slight non-slip grip.
In conclusion, I wish I had purchased this sooner. It fits well, does not fall off or slip, is easy to clean. While I could have lived without it, for a few bucks it has added value. I use my Hydroflask every day, every where I go. It's worth making it an easier to use product when possible. Plus, it's pretty. I adore green and enjoy the olive over ponderosa green.
This fits perfectly, compared to other sleeves that I tried to buy that weren't named brand. It protects the bottom of your bottle from dings as well as softens the sound of putting your bottle down in say, class.
Buying this is like buying new socks or underwear, you don't wanna spend the money but once you so you're so happy you did. It's a little overpriced compared to Dicks or Academy, but the stores didn't have this color so I didn't mind paying the extra few bucks. I have this on my 40 oz hydro flask and it fits well. It's not hard to get on or off which was what I was worried about. It glides on with ease! I set it on my tables with ease knowing the little boot is on there!
