2.0 out of 5 stars Not working

I don't think I did anything wrong. I followed the instructions down to the last t.

After 1 week, there is no noticeable difference. The duration may be on a case-by-case basis. But if I personally need longer than a week before any changes start taking place. Then this product has fallen short of its advert claim of "Remove 15 years of stains in 1 week".

Used it as prescribed. I'm not looking to have really bright and white teeth after using it, but probably having some of the stains removed. However, after 21 days of usage, I do not see any visible results.

Instead, using listerine whitening mouth wash for 14 days deliver better results than this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works really well, but application can take time

I tend to write long reviews, so here’s a quick list of positives and negatives of the whitening pen. This may also answer some questions you have about using the whitening pen:

Positives:
-Actually whitened my teeth!
-No bad taste
-No irritation/pain
-Easy to apply
-Nice packaging

Negatives:
-Did not last as long as the box said it would (lasted 1.5 weeks instead of the 30 usages the box promised)
-You have completely to dry off your teeth and then paint on the solution on each individual tooth (I personally didn’t mind this. It just took a little while to do)
-If you paint over wet teeth, it will ruin the brush
-The solution easily clumps up in areas on teeth after it dries (this didn’t bother me much, but thought it was worth mentioning)

Okay so here’s my more in depth review:

I’ve tried just about every whitening toothpaste on the market, charcoal, baking soda, and more, with no results. I heard about this pen and thought I’d give it a try. I was a bit nervous because I can have sensitive gums, but I felt no irritation whatsoever! The pen lasted exactly a week and a half before I used it all up (so it did not last the 30x stated on the box!). In that time, I can honestly say my teeth look whiter! I was pleasantly surprised. Believe me, the yellow on my teeth was stubborn! I may purchase the pen again to whiten my teeth even more.

However, I noticed a few things about the pen that might be considered negatives to some people. First of all, you have to COMPLETELY dry your teeth before “painting” on the whitening solution with the pen. Otherwise, the solution gets all clumpy and dries up on the brush, which will ruin it. Also, be aware that the pen paints this solution on your teeth and sort of leaves a thin film/coating over your teeth overnight. The solution doesn’t have a taste or anything, but you will definitely want to brush your teeth in the morning to get it all off. Also, be aware that the solution will clump up in places on your teeth when it dries.

I was not aware that that was how the pen works when I bought it, but looking back, I noticed that most of the negative reviews focused around the white clumpyness of the solution on your teeth. This honestly didn’t bother me much, though it was a little bit of a hassle to dry off my teeth and get an even coating on each tooth.

Additionally, you will only be able to whiten your front teeth, as it is to hard to dry off and paint the teeth at the back of the mouth.

Overall, I am pleasantly surprised and impressed by this whitening tool. I’ve tried so many different things and this is the first that has worked! If you are okay with the few “negatives” than definitely purchase this product! I would purchase this again!

As a note, I tried to take before and after pictures but because of bad lighting, they didn’t turn out. But I did see a huge improvement in my teeth’s whitening!

4.0 out of 5 stars This stuff works. It works wonders, but...

As the title states, this really does whiten your teeth. I drink lots of coffee and soft drinks so my teeth have gotten a bit yellow over the past couple of years. I wanted to regain my white smile back and so I wanted to try this product. It brought back the smile I had and made it even whiter than before, with a caveat; Application and ease of use.

This product is a nightmare to use. It takes alot of time and is hard to apply. Even with my dry-as-a-bone teeth, after drying them with 5-6 tissues and making sure they are absolutely completely dry, this pen and its brush still get clumpy and gross. The worst part is that when the brush gets clumpy, it will never retain to its original form like it was before. Never. No matter what you do. If you don't cover it properly, the brush will be rock-hard the next time you want to use it. Make sure you don't get it even slightly wet or leave it open. You need to hear a click to make sure it's capped.

Clicking the pen a bunch of times to dispense more serum to try and soften the bristles works, up to an extent. You will still be able to use the product, but the brush will NEVER be the same, as I previously stated.

The solution/serum inside works wonders, but the method of application and the real-world application of it needs some improving. I think a little tube with a little brush (separate), just like toothpaste, would be better.

This all being said, it is a wonderful product for whitening your teeth, as long as you can handle the absurd application procedure. Cheers.

4.0 out of 5 stars Texture of dried nail glue

Wiping your teeth dry after brushing is fine, painting your teeth with the pen, okay. Does it Actually work? I saw a difference by the third day. The only part i dont like is the solution dries on your teeth and is the textur of dried nail glue. Soemtimes when you brush your teeth there is some left behind that has to be very gently scraped off. Overall it works but its a little bit of a chore.

I really didn’t see much of a difference I think it worked a little but nothing drastic. It lasted a pretty long time. I would buy it again to really see the difference by taking before and after pics. For now it was ok

Wasn't sure if it would work since I've had the stains for a long time. I got the pen just after lunch. Tried it right away. Couldn't wait until later. Applied the gel to the first 8 teeth on the top-front and the other 8 at the bottom-front. Took a while and quite a few clicks to realize that the gel was on the brush already. The white gel did not take the color right away on the teeth. But, I could feel a thin layer. Kept my lips open with the teeth clenched. Stayed inside my office so people wouldn't question me about the way I looked. Also, I didn't want any saliva getting on the teeth if I talked. I kept blowing air through my teeth, hoping the gel would continue to stay dry. As I was leaving for the day, I couldn't really tell if it worked. It was the first application, after all, and it was for only about 4 hours. The next morning, I am shocked. They are white. I put on double the dosage from the day before and ordered a new pen. At the rate I am clicking on the pen, I am gonna need a new one in just a few days. All in all, a wonderful product. Do use the paper towel to dry your teeth (and not the tissues).

4.0 out of 5 stars It works.. but,

Did this pen whiten my teeth? Yes.
Does it have a bad flavor? No.
Is it easy to use? No.
Can you feel the product in your teeth? YES.
After it dries, it feels like you haven’t brushed your teeth for days. It’s too much for me.
You legitimately need your teeth surface to be and stay dry in order to apply this product.
The saliva from your mouth makes the pen tip wet and it turns hard as a rock. But again, if you can look past the nasty rough feeling it leaves you with while you sleep, then give it a go because it really does make your teeth whiter.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not as easy as it looks

I’m not 100% sure about the whitening capabilities…I feel like it does work but I don’t use it consistently for a couple reasons.

It takes a million clicks to get out enough product…to the point where I feel like there’s actually barely any product in there and I’m getting scammed.

Then, before you finish applying the product it starts to dry onto the brush and clog it. The directions say to wash off the brush after using it (I’m assuming to prevent the clogging issue) but the dried product is more difficult to get out than dried glue on a paint brush. Water does nothing to dissolve it. You have to scratch it off the bristles.

It’s a great idea and probably a good option if white strips are too strong for your teeth as this product doesn’t cause me any sensitivity the few times Ive used it. But for me, the white strips are easier to use and I’ll just deal with the sensitive teeth for a day.
