Extremely disappointed. Filament did not dispense even after "eating" up a full piece. We didn't even get a chance to draw for the first time. Items came in a carton box as seen in the picture, not the original 3Doodler box.

One star off because it is way too expensive. Also didnt realise that only the white pack was glow-in-the-dark in the supposed glow kit. Disappointing for my daughter who wanted to create with her friend. We had to buy a separate pack of glows alone so that they could complete their project. ££!, Fun anyway and glows really nicely.
Works fine, its quality plastic and fits the pen/extrudes perfectly. I'd complain about the extortionist pricing but am used to it at this point and its one of the only pen models and filament that its impossible for your kids to burn themselves so from a parent perspective I'm happy to pay a little extra for the peace of mind this gives me.
This pen is absolutely horrible. My son has asked for this for 2 years and finally got it and a Christmas present. He used it a total of 3 times and now it is jammed. We only used the filament that is 3 d doodler brand that came with the pen. My husband looked up how to fix the pen on the company website and tried all the trouble shooting methods. Finally we contacted Steve from 3D doodler who had only offered to "repair" our pen. Of course with us shipping it back. The pen is supposed to have a 1 year warranty. We've asked for it to be replaced but have only been offered a repair. Very very poor costumer service. I would never buy any of their products again. If I could have given zero stars I would have.
I bought this for my 10 year old granddaughter (and refills) for her birthday and what a disappointment. The first one delivered did not work and was replaced. The 2nd one worked but took forever to eject anything and the output was so fine it would take forever to make anything and the strand broke every inch or so. A useless piece of plastic. I would have returned it again but my grandsons used the box to make a ramp for their cars- at least something was used but my granddaughter has nothing and the refills we bought are useless! Don’t waste your money. If I could give it zero stars I would.
I bought this pen for my 8 year old kid, after used up all of the plastics and I found that the pen can only use it’s own brand plastic, it’s too pricey. This is what I come up in mind “Cheap Printers, Expensive Ink”.
I recommended this pen for kid under 6 year old.
Finally, I looked up another 3D pen for my kid (not low temperature) which can use most of the common filaments on the market.
I bought this as a gift and have to give the kid a basic brown box and expect him to be excited LOL Should have paid the extra $5 and got it in original packaging from Walmart or Masterminds
