I needed a spare phone for cycling with, so given the obvious potential for damage, I did not want to pay vast amounts for a top selling mobile to run the risk of falling off and damaging it. Given the "Armor" tag and the price point, it looked a good fit.
I am also Type 1 diabetic and use the Abbott Freestyle Libre glucose monitoring system, which supports Android 10. My previous cycling phone was a Sony Xperia Z2 Android 6 phone, which worked well until it finally expired recently. My workaday Honor Android 10 also works fine with my Freestyle sensors.
This Armor X7 Pro is also Android 10, but simply does not recognise the sensors at all. Doing some fairly basic digging around suggests it could be the less capable chipset the Armor uses versus higher spec'd phones.
My rating represents my dissatisfaction with the phone's NFC capability, but in equal measure, the complete lack of response, acknowledgement & advice on the issue from Ulefone Support . I contacted them immediately when I discovered the shortcomings of their device, but zero response from them sadly. I've returned the phone.
Had phone about 3 months. Bought 2 of these a month apart. Both on Bell network. 1 works fine This phone developed an issue now sends about 20% of calls directly to voicemail. Resetting did not solve problem. New Sim same issue persists. First contact to support was not much help. Contacted Amazon support again and was forwarded to the seller to resolve the issue. Seller told me problem would be forwarded to technicians to be resolved. Never heard anything back. Got brushed off by seller apparently. Product lists a 1 year warranty. Dont count on it. Buy these only if you are willing to take the chance on getting a defect free phone. If you cant afford to take that chance dont buy.
Phone is NOT good at all for nothing slow heavy as crap like honestly most electronics are NOT good on amazon just saying this horrible second crap phone I have bought on this app and yet both are crap other one shut down within twice using it . Smh they won't do anything about it. Im done wasting my money on this app wayfair here I come good bye amazon
Bought this because I'm not interested in lugging around a wide-scream tv to make phone calls and text. And an occasion google search. It's slightly bigger and heavier than my beloved BB Q5, but I can deal with that. It accepted my Koodo SIM without a hitch. Used 27% of a charge on the first day of use - including all the configuration / downloading effort. (Need my BB Sunrise alarm) Synced with Bluetooth keyboard and headset effortlessly. If I have to put up with an Android phone - I guess I can live with this one.
NOTE: I had to do a factory reset to get rid of a clock alarm. "Off" setting means nothing. Had to repeat all my set up. Subsequently, dropping my review as I apparently need to carry my Blackberry to function as an alarm clock.
Apparently, setting a default ring tone does not set a default ring tone. It has to be manually set for every contact. Don't know if this is the phone or the Android implementation. Knocking the score down again.

NOTE:NOTE: Phone stopped using Mobile data so returned it for refund. The refund functioned perfectly. Shopping for a flip phone.
It required any storage connected to be formatted to use and constantly does random things while on calls. It tries to add random numbers it once put my on a conference call with the person I was already on a call with it likes to block random numbers which I don't always notice until I miss important phone calls. Overall I wish I had paid attention to my return window

The phone would not turn on after being turned off for the night. Would not except a battery charge. Probably defect in battery. Ulefone company would not respond to emails or answer phone calls for warranty service. Amazon service reps tried to help me get warranty service and they had no success. So returned phone back to Amazon. If Ulefone has such bad warranty or other service, I would not purchase anything from Ulefone in the future. I will certainly give thanks and credit to Amazon's service reps for all the help they gave me in trying to solve this problem and their quick refund policy. A bright light at the end of a frustrating experience.
Nach nur 3 Monaten Nutzung war das Teil kaputt und nicht mehr in Betrieb zu nehmen. Nach Korrespondez mit einem englischsprachigen Unternehmen, wurden wir gebeten das Smartphone einzusenden. Seither nichts mehr vom Verkäufer gehört ... mir ist das Reklamieren für dieses Billig-Teil zu aufwenig ... daher pfeif ich auf das Teil und bestelle ein anders.
Leider gibt es keine schlechtere Bewertung als 1 Stern - KEINE Kaufempfehlung!
Bought the phone in October 2020, phone died in Feb 2021 after my 1 year old spilt his bottle on it, what happened to water resistent. Looking at the " one year warranty" from there site, it doesnt cover anything!! Everything possible except for software fail is the exception to the warranty. No physical damage other than milk. Not impressed with the phone or the warranty. Would not recommend especially considering water damage is not covered for such a "rugged" phone.
I got this phone a few months ago and got a problem with charing pin and I tried to find the customer care number and there is no customer care number, they have support email id and after writing a number of emails I got a delayed response from the support team asking me to send the phone china for repair and they cover only repair cost and I need pay for shipping. considering the cost of the phone going through this entire hassle of sending the phone to China and waiting for it to be repaid and send back to canada, I dumped it in the garbage. buyer beware!!!!
