Disappointed with Sharpie!! They DIE Quickly!!

I had high expectations for this pen from Sharpie and it is the WORST gel pen ever. It starts out wonderful - I love the smooth way it writes. In my job, I have patients sign forms everyday and everyone loved this pen. HOWEVER....I have had this box of 12 purple pens and in THREE WEEKS, I have already gone through two of them. My first one "died" after TWO WEEKS and the second one lasted just this ONE WEEK. OMG!! Definitely NOT what I expected from Sharpie. I know it's not a "one-off" since two pens have "died" on me in THREE WEEKS....and it's not like I'm writing a novel. Patients sign a form twice and I maybe have 15 patients a day. I work 3 days a week. Do the math. DO NOT bother with these expensive pens and stick to my gold standard: The Pentel Energel. Period. Don't let the name "Sharpie" fool you.

These pens write very well out of the box but they only wrote for a very short period of time. I thought that maybe one of them was bad, but it was the entire box. Each pen wrote for a couple of hours and d=then started skipping and very soon after skipping stopped writing altogether. I thought I received a bad batch and ordered more from Sharpie directly with the same result. These were a complete waste of money.

I was super excited about these pens. I preordered them. Waited for them. They arrived and I’ve loved writing with them.... then I set my coffee down on my notebook where I’ve been writing and found they aren’t permanent at all. Ink smeared/blurred everywhere. I thought Sharpie = permanent. I suppose not anymore?

I was so excited about these. I love gel pens, especially with multiple colors to make my work day a little brighter. These suck. After dropping on the floor 1 (one) time, the gel stopped coming out. I tried all the methods to get them working again but all that would happen is a bunch comes out with enough for one sloppy word and then stops again. Very sad. This has happened with 4 of the pens already.

Very comfortable to hold and write with. Looks sleek. The pen itself is nothing special, even when you just get it the writing is a little underwhelming. I worked (1) 8 hour shift and the pen didnt even make it to end of the day before the writing became scratchy. Stick with the G2 Pilot.
