I liked how comfortable it felt using the face shield & the appropriate length to cover my entire neck anteriorly. The only tiny criticism is that the shield is just a bit too thick although visualization was still good.
I used this shield on an 18 hour train ride. It is exceptionally comfortable, far better than I anticipated. However, the tape that holds The plastic to the headband began to come lose on the edge. It did make it through the trip but I was concerned it would give. I had no problems with fogging or wrinkling of the shield, so I will reorder.
Very comfortable, effective face shield that provides significant protection. I purchased this for use on an airplane and it fits super well. Only downside is it scratches easily, but I only intend to use this once or twice so it's not a make it or break it concern. Overall, very satisfied with the purchase!
These, so stated on the news, are not as much protection as a mask but the two together are more protection than the mask alone. I want all protection I can muster against covid so.we.wear.both the shield and mask in public. Wish everyone did.
This nice set of.6 allows us to leave 2 in each of our three vehicles so they are always with us when we leave home. Gave only 4 stars for comfort...sometimes a little tight around forehead, depending where you let it settle. Fit well over glasses. Shield doesn't fog up but your glasses.can, I think because the masks tend to direct your own exhales right on your glasses. Have not tried any others but am satisfied. Seem pretty sturdy too. Would recommend.
Like a hat, though, you will have to hang onto it on a windy day.
Gets scratched easily on 3M half mask and/or oakley eyeglasses and/or in general on 1st day wear after like 2 or 3 hours maybe grocery shopping. Not as long as memory foam band (foam is thicker on forehead, but floppy which can be mar vision more if it bends at wrong time.
I put this in 11x14 (?) Inch 2-pack microfiber BSQ case I bought on here& it fits one way.
Looked for anti fog, clarity (!), length for ears but doesnt reduce hearing (depends on your needs, maybe healthcare needs full SEALED MASK like 3M), fitting glasses, etc.
Would be nice if there was a CLEAR (CRYSTAL CLEAR!) version with shield that rotated like 3M safety face shield. There is a chinese visor that rotates but the screen isnt as clear & headband breaks after a while (I still got one though just in case).
Hasn't fogged but its colder weather & not heating up so only time, etc. will tell if this fogs.
Needed something fast....got this just in case along with another one so I would have something in case one didnt make it in time.
I go grocery shopping when they first open with my list prioritized & get in & out to limit exposure.
I love that these are American made and shipped in a box so they don't get damaged in transit. They work well for myself and my 5-year-old. I can't tolerate a mask over my nose, so this was much needed for me, and my kiddo likes it better than the mask too. My only complaint is that they are expensive for what they are -- a piece of plastic with a piece of elastic literally just stapled to it and a piece of foam glued to it. It cannot cost them more than a dollar to make each one, so they're netting a HUGE profit off these.
I really like the plastic of these shields, very firm and thick, does not crease at all and easy to clean. I wish the elastic can be a little bit thicker and not move around the buttons on the side which make me feel the shield is sliding as my head is a bit smaller. The Chinese shield elastic feels tighter. Also the foam is not as thick as the Chinese ones. But the most important is the plastic shield and for this I am happy. I like the fact these are from USA.
I like the reassurance for my safety of wearing a face shield. As a first time user I am still adjusting to wearing it. So far the mask fogged up only slightly and only when I had to put on my reading glasses briefly. I was also wearing a face mask which always causes my glasses to fog up. The shield does not distort my vision and the clear material seems durable. I clean & sanitize very gently after every use. I intend to reuse my face shield until there is an occasion of contamination & then I will use a new one.
I wore the shield for about 6 hours outdoors and in shopping stores. The elastic band & the thick foam piece is relatively comfortable, no more noticeable than wearing a ball cap or headband. I did sweat a little. I had to adjust, remove & replace, only a couple of times due to the wind blowing my hair. I ate with it on and drank with it on without a problem.
First, the units use decent materials, the clear plastic is pretty good, and the elastic ribbon is fine. The padding is also adequate. There are two minor problems with the shields, one the elastic is held on by a single staple on each side. After a while it begins to weaken in the plastic. Second, the elastic is not adjustable, so if you have a large diameter head, it cannot be changed to become more comfortable.
