The movies are awesome. The packaging leaves much much to be desired
I received the set with 4 loose discs, and 2 of them had scratches on them.
You will most likely received some loose disc when your package arrives, due to the disc being placed in these cardboard sleeves, which I hate. I suggest you play every disc to make sure they play upon arrival.
Why do manufacturers continue to make sets like this is beyond me.
A nice Blu-ray box set with blu-ray disc holders would have been just fine for this set.
The card board case also feels very flimsy and cheap, and probably won't hold up over time.
Wait for the set to go on sale...certainly not worth $125

Impractical packaging

Just received my boxed set to find five of the blu-ray discs completely out of their "pockets" in the package: loose and rolling around against each other, presumably from the factory all the way to my doorstep.

It's quite possible that some may be scratched enough to not play properly (there are visible marks), and it wasn't my plan to immediately watch them all now to be sure they actually work. It's impractical of Criterion to design this expensive package this way - not surprisingly the five loose discs were all from the bottom row. Disappointing.
